• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

erasing preset stations on a Can-AM RT-S Radio

What was causing this to occur for me is when I was setting a station that published "information" (e.g. song name, artist, etc.). Once the display would update to show the information it would reset to preset 1. Very bad design for the the user interface. Obviously the people who build the...

    The Great River Road

Has anyone tackled this ride? We are looking for the next adventure and was looking at this ryde. Is it best to tackle it from north to south, or south to north? Did you go all the way to the southern most point of the road? Was it worth going all the way, or was there portions that were...

erasing preset stations on a Can-AM RT-S Radio

:agree: I have even had the problem where station information will update the display and will not let me set the pre-set to one of the higher numbers. This is not a very user friendly design for the radio's user interface.

    Mounting a Zumo up high

I love this site!!! Thanks for all the feedback and pictures. I did get my Zumo move up to the top of the dash and man, what a difference it made. We just got back from a week long ride where we put on over 2500 miles. The new position was fantastic as it allowed me to view the navigation...

    Reflector Replacement

Thanks all. I did use a heat gun to remove the reflector. I then used some new adhesive, LockTite adhesive to glue it on the new guard. Guess I will see how that holds up over time. It appears to be sealed pretty well to the guard now.

    Reflector Replacement

I have to replace the mud guard on the left front fender. The new one did not come with a reflector attached so I will have to try to remove the old one and move it to the new guard. I was planning on using the heat gun trick for the removal process; however, what is the best way to reattach...

Seal Floorboards or Lamont's NBV highway pegs?

I am also pondering this question. At first I was leaning toward the NBV but met a fellow Spyder Ryder for lunch. He had the Seal floorboards and that has almost changed my mind. At 6'2" I am wondering if there is enough foot positions available with the pegs vs. the floorboards. We...

How much did the color affect your decision when purchasing your Spyder.

We had pretty much settled on the Perl White before going in for visibility reasons. Once we saw it, there was no other color to consider.

My tribute to the USAF crew that was lost in Operation El Dorado

:agree:   I personally have not served, but am very grateful for those who have. Freedom is a VERY precious commodity and without the sacrifices of "the few" that commodity quickly becomes scarce. Again, thanks to all and the wrap looks fantastic.

Prayers for Stan ( Sporter Spyder )

:agree: I have had them come across the center line head-on as well as while I am attempting to pass. I am very thankful that I had enough time and space to react and get out of harms way.:pray::pray: From Oklahoma. Glad to hear he is in good spirits and we all wish for a quick and...
