• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 Riding Suggestions for New Rider

Some people have had problems with the shift from 2 to 3 wheels. I hold onto the horns lightly and sit with my knees relaxed. That seems to let 'R run as she wants. No problems passing large trucks traveling in either direction. In Oklahoma riding in the wind is a given. I also don't have...

    Anybody out there?

:agree: We have ridden quite a bit around the eastern part of the state and only seen 3-4 others all summer long as well. Not sure where everyone is hiding, but would love to maybe get people together for a ride this summer.

    J&M CB Antenna Upgrade Kit

Guess when you are talking about the tupperware, break is considered a bad word... :roflblack: Waiting to hear back on the testing before I buy. I want to make sure this will do the job since I have already sunk a good chunk of change into the COM system to begin with. I would have expected...

    LaMonster cut on Corbin seat

I have a question about moving back 2" in the seat. How would this affect the passenger when you are riding 2-up? I would obviously take away some of their room, but is it noticeable to them? Never rode as a passenger so not sure how 'cozy' it is back there... :dontknow:

    J&M CB Antenna Upgrade Kit

Ditto on letting us know after the test. I am also looking at this mod. I was definitely disappointed after the CB upgrade to find the TX distance was very limited. Also, how hard is it to break into the back sides where the antenna's are mounted?

2012 RT Limited - CB and Intercom Help needed

I looked at several options and went with the CB for my 2011 LTD. :agree: with what ThreeWheels said in his post. He pretty much nailed it with his answers. The XM option can be added to the entertainment harness so you can control it from the RECC. The intercom and CB will both take...

    Need recomendations for Highway Pegs

As others who have posted above, I am waiting for the Lamonster NBV pegs. I have looked at a lot of options myself. I am 6' 3" and don't mind riding, but after being on the road for awhile, I have had to stretch my leg out towards the front wheels. The NBVs look like they will allow you to...

    Lamonster RTW Project

Lamont, I looked at the shorty antennas and only saw one that they offered. Is it the same for both the AM/FM/WX and the CB? I thought those had to be different do to the different frequencies and wavelengths that they operate on. Is the performance of these antennas as good/better than the...

    Are your CB transmissions clear??

I have not really had static issues with my CB, but my distance seems to be very limited. Within 1/2 mile, I can no longer talk to another. This seems to be extremely limited to me. My first thought was a ground plane issue but not sure. I have taken it back to the dealer and they could not...

    2012 RT Bluetooth adapter

Thanks so much for the answers. This may be my first mod for me to do. I will have to get the maintenance manual and look it over good before I go to ripping the tupperware off though. As Scotty and others have pointed out, don't get in over your head, but ask tons of questions. Thanks again!

    2011 or 2012

I am sure supplies are getting thin, but if the '11 has what you want on it and you can do without some of the '12 upgrades, then you might get a good deal on the '11. One of the bad things about that, you are pretty much stuck with whatever they have, or can find. Good luck with the decision...

    2012 RT Bluetooth adapter

And after you install it, will you be able to use the intercom headset mic to talk on the phone? Since you have to install it to the back of the CB, I assume you would have to remove the back of the bike to get to the CB? I am trying to decide whether I want to put this on my '11 RT or not...
