• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When is it going to be available?

When the F3's came out in 2015, I pre-ordered mine in September 2014 and didn't get it until February 2015. There were a few other folks who were waiting on theirs who got them in January. Since then it seems like the new models arrive a bit sooner, but I would still expect December/January...

    Ryker dirt road and gravel

salt flats or gravel I think the biggest concern for current spyders off pavement is getting a rock in the belt and also the clearance. I regularly go up old fall river road in Rocky Mountain National Park during the summer months and at the beginning of the season, that's no problem but...

Spyder is REALLY different - tried test ride, barely made it out of the dealer's lot

me too It also took me about 1000 miles to "learn". I was having a bit of buyers remorse immediately after getting my RT but my husband kept telling me to just take it out every day and keep trying different roads that I was used to from 2 wheels so that I'd experience the "new" in different...

    USB power in Frunk Area

connect to a different fuse so keyed on only We had the issue with it sticking too far out in the back to easily remove the bucket. I had our dealership install the USB port originally and after that we tried to remove the bucket for something (probably installing LEDs) and found that we...

2017 F3T fishtailing when hard braking - Is this normal?

ours are both 2015 F3's. if you read up in this thread you'll see that BRP recently changed their recommendations. We've been running the 23/26 for the entire time we've had the F3's.

2017 F3T fishtailing when hard braking - Is this normal?

23 and 26 are what we try to run Our dealership sets our tires to that every time we go in, and we try to keep them around those pressures between visits. We haven't had any issues with the tires. Hope your issue was just the pressure.

    Two up riding Machine?

test them both -- only you and your +1 know the answer We started with an RTL and rode 2 up all the time. Then I switched to the F3S which I like a lot better to drive, and though we rarely ride 2 up on them other than when one or the other of us has service scheduled and we're dropping...

2017 F3 (SE) Nanny OFF performance?

that's weird Don't know what to tell you. I have a 2015 F3S SE and have no option to turn off the Nanny. I'm able to chirp the tire all the time, and spin it from a stop at will. In fact I'm off to get my 3rd (4th???) back tire tomorrow. Try full throttle, not 90%?

New Spyder Owner here with a million dollar question

+1 on the 2 up shock I agree with this upgrade. I ride solo and I'm not that heavy and the spring on the original shock really jarred my back. belt dampener/sway bar is something I'd wait on. I am 2.5 years in and over 30K miles on my F3 and haven't found the need for either.

Amazing what owning a Spyder will get you to do.

outwaiting That doesn't work at our house. I ride more, thus my spyder gets dirtier than his (high winds with dust, road construction, afternoon showers, splashback from snow melt, etc.). I don't like washing it, and I can hold out longer than my husband. First time he notices that he...

    they couldn't keep up

the times, they are a changin' I occasionally ride with a mixed motorcycle group. The leader of the group is always the first to tell newbies that "she's no slouch". I usually ride in the back just so I can hang WAAAAAAY back and then catch up in the one or two S curves we go through on most...

    Homecoming stuff

10th anniversary stickers I wish we'd realized while we were there that the little round dots that they put at each place setting at the event in Drummondville were vinyl stickers. I would have grabbed them from the people at our table who left them there when they left :) We did take ours...
