• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2015 F3 fender mount broke

should be under warrenty I would also check with the dealership to see if it's under warrenty... you may not have to do anything (unless of course you'd rather...).

    Warm Weather Riding Clothes

vents? first, see if your existing jacket has vents, and open them up. You'll find a lot of the time that the vents will keep you comfortable as long as you're moving. Then you take the jacket off as soon as you stop. Look into getting a mesh jacket with or without a removable rain shell for...

Anybody tried the F3 occasional 2 up shock?

a lot of us have swapped out the stock rear shock with the 2-up. If you search this forum you'll find several threads on it from when it became available. There are pictures of the 2 shocks side by side that show the difference in the springs. I ride solo 99.9% of the time and it was well...

    2015 F3-S, is this a good buy...

sounds like a good deal I have a 2015 F3-S myself with nearly 28K miles -- no issues other than the frame service bulletin and I also swapped out the rear shock for the 2-up shock (about $130).

$20 promo discount on TricLED Centramatic Wheel Balancers

Just in case someone is interested in these, figured I'd share the promo discount. I was wondering if anyone has used these in the past. I just ordered a set for my F3 because about every 3rd or 4th new set of front tires, I can tell my tires aren't as balanced as they could be. I'm tired of...

Come Sail Away Come Sail Away With Me - Man am I stupid

yep, pay attention to the front tabs I did the same thing somewhere along the way to/from Deadwood, SD last year. We're flying along at 85mph somewhere in WY and I see the front end of the panel lifting up and kind of flapping. Luckily I noticed it and pulled over and got it tabbed in...

Question about F3-S Seat and USB outlet

It must depend on the USB outlet that you're using -- mine fits just fine. The USB is not meant to be installed in the urban rack. It's installed underneath the rack and the hole in the urban rack is for the wires to go up into it. I have the USB outlet with one wire for my iPod and one for...

    What now??

me too on the predictions. I also think they may be taking the time needed to rework the body to fit the engine instead of repeating the 2013 RT issues.

    myths and prejudices...

spyders & recumbents I have a Rans Rocket and my husband has the BikE mountain bike (don't know what the model is after all these years). I know someone else on here also rides a recumbent. I guess people who like "different" things, gravitate towards them in a lot of parts of their lives :)

    Manual Or Semi-Auto?

the semi-auto is just a paddle shifter, you can downshift with it just like a manual and have full control just like you would with a clutch. The only time I let it downshift for me is in a panic stop.

Has anyone found a way to remove the start delay using the ECO button?

someone else may have already corrected you, but you got the order wrong. you turn on the key, then press mode, then hit the red start button (with your foot on the brake).

    mileage numbers on rear tire?

I'm on my third back tire I have gotten 10k on each back tire. I ride mostly twisties and some rough roads in the mountans. I like to accelerate fast -- some tire chirping and some black marks but no major burnouts where I just spin and smoke it. I'm on my 2nd set of front tires -- want to...

Who has a Garmin 590 on their F3?

ditto for me I believe you can find pictures of the center mount on the lamontergarage website. It does block my view of the lower part of the instruments (time/mileage, etc.) but that's solved my leaning forward if I need to check something.

    RT to F3

I think it's more comfortable I find the seating/riding position more comfortable than I did my RT Limited for long rides, but I suspect everyone's mileage may vary.
