• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Question on Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, #02-SB

Thanks! I saw those 2 screws in the picture on the website and figure there must be something under there that holds the whole thing together. My husband says he'll "modify" it somehow if I need the backrest further forward. He figures it out -- I just enjoy the results! ;) Thanks for...

Question on Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, #02-SB

Need some help from someone who owns the Corbin Ovalbac Backrest, Model 02-SB. I am thinking about getting this backrest for my Corbin seat. It may have to be modified (my husband modifies everything! ;)) Could someone who owns this seat tell me if the backrest itself, the padded part, can...

I have the NMN 4" risers on my SM5 and they look just like yours. My husband installed mine and they're great!

    250cc Spyder

How do these guys import and sell these things without getting sued by BRP???? If they aren't, they should! In addition to my SpYder, I also have a Piaggio MP3 250 (which is for sale), and believe me, the difference in power in HUGE! I wouldn't trade my Spyder for anything!

how hard is grip installation? also brp 1" riser

Thanks - I just found the answer elsewhere. The 4" riser is for bikes that don't have th BRP 1" riser. I still LOVE my NMN 4" risers! Would just like to have the grips a little bit closer to me -- short arm syndrome!!

how hard is grip installation? also brp 1" riser

Is there any advantage to having the NMN 4" risers (which I have) and adding the BRP 1" riser? I'm short, 5'4", and wondering if this would help me even more. Can the 1" riser even be installed with the NMN 4" risers?

    Mud Flap for REAR Tire???

Is there a mud flap for the rear tire? I've found that I get lots of debris on my license plate which has been splashed by the rear tire. Thanks!

    Attention Women Riders!

I got the taller windshield immediately -- made a HUGE difference in comfort! Also, the 4" NMN risers were essential for me -- short person (5'4") and probably short arms! I sit just about upright now and I'm not leaning on my spindly wrists -- much more comfortable! My husband added...

    Corbin Backrest #02-SB Question

Thanks for your helpful replies. We pretty much figured, from looking at the hole in the seat, that the backrest wouldn't be adjustable fore and aft. I am short, 5'4", and have the NMN 4" risers, which helped tremendously. On the stock seat, I was about 3" away from my butt touching that...

    Corbin Backrest #02-SB Question

I received my Corbin seat today, only ONE WEEK and ONE DAY after I ordered it! Very happy about that, since the original "Schedule Date" was APRIL 29th. My husband installed the seat today and it looks and feels great. Unfortunately, won't be able to take it for a test ride yet, because it's...

MO Spyderlovers, & KS & AR Too!

Hi - We live in Arnold, Missouri, about 25 miles south of St. Louis. There's another Spyder Ryder (Gene) in High Ridge, MO, which is a bit further out. We've ridden with him a couple of times -- lots of fun. I've seen on BRP's website that there's another Spyder Ryder in Fenton, MO, which...

Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Rally in DC

My husband and I were lucky enought to go to Rolling Thunder TWICE, once in 2001 (before 911) and once in 2003. IT IS FABULOUS!!! An experience not to be missed! We have NEVER seen so many motorcycles in one place, and we've been to the Honda Hoot, the Goldwing WingDing and countless HOG...

I think I sold a Spyder on my first day out

I've had my 08 SM5 since October, 08, and haven't had a bit of trouble with it! I love it and would buy it again -- the SM5, NOT the SE5, from reading posts on this forum mainly. Sorry you're having so many problems with your SE5. Hopefully, some day, it'll all get straightened out and...

    new Corbin seats!!!

I rode my Spyder yesterday for only a couple of hours with my Alaska Leathers Butt Pad, and my tailbone was sore the rest of the day! I tried my gel pad to, no better. I decided that I'd never make it when we ride all day during the riding season. So, after much thought and reading lots of...

    Gel_Air Cushions ????

Thanks, Scotty. I already have the 4" NMN risers, which have helped tremendously. I also have a gel pad, which I use when we're riding two-up on our Goldwing trike. When I use it on my Spyder, it raises me up too much and then I'm leaning over on my spindly wrists again! I can't win! Can...

    Gel_Air Cushions ????

Boy, now I'm really confused! I've been saving for a Corbin seat, but now thinking the Air Hawk might do a better job for me at way less cost. We took a fairly long day trip yesterday (for us) over 200 miles. (Me on my Spyder, my husband on his Harley) I just got my Spyder last October, so...
