• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there a difference in Battery Tenders?

I think you are mixing up a battery tender and battery conditioner. Battery tenders are less expensive and do not claim (as far as I see) the ability to revive a dead battery. A conditioner will do that and they are usually more expensive and have all the fancy dodads. I bought a conditioner...

    Non-Ethanol Gas - really like

I have a station by me that sells non-ethanol gas and I started using it a few weeks ago. I like it and it feels like it makes a difference. With winter coming I am hoping it will help protect the engine and lines during the winter when I cannot ride daily. Jim

    (another) Tire question

When getting replacements tires that are not the stock BRP Kenda, do you have the CanAm dealer install them or take them some where else to install? It seems easier for the front since they appear to come off easier, the rear would be another animal entirely. It would seem more...

    Touring pants

Hi I have a pair of Sedici Alexi Waterproof Pants (https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/sedici-alexi-pants) that I really like. They have two removal liners (one waterproof and one for cold weather). I remove both liners for the summer and like to ride for long rides, I do not wear for shorter...

Replacing shocks is it worth it

I have a 2017 F3 Limited. Does it make a noticeable difference on the ride and handling? Looking at shock prices they seems high. Thanks in advance. Jim

    Glove and Boot Recommendations

Vote for Bates boots. You can get them cheap on Amazon and they are great. They are even a bit wider than normal shoes and are very comfortable.

    Let’s Talk headsets

Pete: It is possible to depress the foam in the helmet and not risk the safety integrity of the helmet? May I ask what to do - I love the full face helmet , but without the headset do not use it as much. Thanks in advance, Jim

    Let’s Talk headsets

Utah Pete - I have HJC CL-17 and the Freecom did not fit into it because there are no ear holes or side depressions for the speakers. I tried putting it nearer to the top of the helmet and it was painful when I put it on. My HJC 3/4 helmet worked fine. Jim

Anyone planning on going to bike week in Ocean City, Maryland? Will there be any Spyder vendors there? Thanks, Jim

I so Hate the cold - except for sking

I live in Pa. and ride daily. I had a couple of days recently where the temperature reading on the Spyder was 100+ - up to 104 on one day. Will the Spyder resort to limp mode when there is excessive heat? If so, this is a good to know.

Anyone Here Also Ride a Maxi-Scooter?

I had a Honda Forza 300 I loved until I purchased the Spyder, now I do not miss it in the least. The Forza is a great bike, it ran great, was easy to park, I had no complaints. I just love my Spyder much more.

    Cardo Freedom1 review

Everyone has been so helpful with questions I decided to post a review to help someone else out. I did a significant amount of research into blue connectivity while riding my Spyder. My main use case was listening to music with phone calls being a nice to have but not necessary. Bluetooth...

    Covering your Spyder

What is best practice for covering a Spyder nightly and for extended periods when you do not have a garage to keep it in? My friend has a Triumph and caused rusting on his custom pipes because the cover traps the moisture under the cover. I wonder if this could affect any belts from trapped...
