• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rally Rear Fender - Owners Thoughts? Experience so far?

I seem to be in the minority but I love the half fender on the rally! That exposed tire look really looks great. About 80% of my riding is done on dirt roads and yes the swingarm/shock area gets dirty but it does wash off. As far as me, you can see what the back of my white jersey (provided...

    Headlight - Europe

Unless I'm looking at the parts place wrong, be prepared for some expense. The units are about $350 a piece (and they're just the low beams). Then here if a bulb goes out you just throw a cheap hi/lo bulb in, if one on those bullet bulbs go out, you have to replace it at $227 a piece. We may...

    Ryker No netural selection ?

Nico 75 said it. You just need it to roll it around easily when it isn't running.

    White key

Has to be attached to start. Then you can remove it if you want to.

Age of riders buying a Ryker

You might have a point there.

Age of riders buying a Ryker

66 years old and my 32nd bike including dirt and street. Judging from this poll, looks like Can Am missed their 'young' buyer they were aiming for.

    Setting clock help needed

I think it just needs to wake up but when you're done you need to pull the 'key' off for a few seconds till it shuts off or it will remain on!

    Spot lights on non-American versions

I lived in the UK for 4 years ('59 to '63) so I remember they have different names for car parts. After reading Nico75's comment in 'Comfort Seats', I like the way he referred to them as the "dipped" lights.

    Spot lights on non-American versions

Those aren't spot lights. They are the low beams. The lights where we have them are the high beams.

    Handling: 900 ACE versus Rally

Am I the only one that thinks the half fender looks great? I love the way that fender shows off a portion of that aggressive tread. That was one of the first things that drew me to the Rally! I ride about 80% on dirt roads and yes the swing arm is always covered in dirt but a little squirt of...

    Ryker limp mode info.

Gee, I'd never know if I was in limp mode because my normal cruising speed is 50! Most roads around me have shoulders and I keep watch and get over. On the four lane roads, they have another lane, they can go around me.

    Rally Use

Trevor G, I've experimented a little with the rear suspension but I'll try your method and see what I come up with. I may be able to get it to react better but I feel if I'm going along at even 15 mph on a dirt road and the rear tire drops into a sharp hole and then out, it's going to jar me...

    Rally Use

Hey Spokane2303, I have 442 miles on her so far with probably 350 of them on dirt roads. So far, zero problems. The one rule of thumb I've discovered is 'find the smoothest route for the rear tire". If the rear tire hits a pothole, you WILL feel it. Don't worry about the front tires. They...

    Rally Use

I see a lot of videos of Rallys being used for commuting, racing and just driven around town but no one seems to be taking them on what Can Am refers to as "unpaved roads". I love dual-sport bikes but they just got too tall and I got too old. So I'm using mine to ride the dirt backroads again...

Tools needed for Ryker wheel change

Maybe a dumb question but...for those of you that have removed/tightened your wheel nuts, are the nuts left or right handed thread? Thanks in advance.
