• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Definitely not US model and those aren't accessory fog lights. They are the low beam headlights. Their high beams are where our 'normal' lights are.

    First time I adjusted my brake lever the brake light stayed on. Found a screw underneath in the end of the brake assembly, facing the rear. Can adjust it to where the lights are off.

    He stated that sport mode shuts off traction control. Rally mode shuts it off but my experience, sport just delays it before cutting in. That plus the tire pressure issue. I did learn about the reaching under and lifting on the brake reservoir to assist in moving the right foot peg though.

    I've checked torque on rear wheel. I have a 1/2" torque wrench and with the 1/2 to 3/4 adapter, it works without any extension.

    I have had my front off and on several times using an "eBay" socket. It's not a perfect fit but if you cover it with a plastic bag like Bajaron says, it takes up the slack and makes a perfect fit, along with protecting the nut.

    There's a place on the back of the front wheels to run a steel bolt through to hold it. Just make sure it's a quality bolt, bent the first one I tried.

    It's been my experience that rally mode shuts the VSS off totally. I've just used it to get through deep sand. Wouldn't want to use it on the street!

    Max Mount width

    Front hole goes all the way through and is 2" long by 1/2 to 7/8" wide. Rear hole is about 1" by 1" but only about 1/4" deep. Holes are 5 5/8" center to center. FLAT part of mount is 4" in front and 6" in rear and 10" long. My suggestion is you look around for something but DO NOT BUY...

    Have a camera but no helmet mount. Will take some videos with it mounted on the handlebar but not sure things will show up well enough. May have to wait till brother-in-law brings his down and we mount it on his and he can follow taking videos.

    I never pay any attention to the gauge, just reset 'Trip A' and use it. I usually fill up early but if you want to push it a little, just figure using the lowest mpg you've gotten. Much more reliable.
