• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Another TIre Question...

Good to know ... I'll keep that in mind.

    Another TIre Question...

I haven't given them a close inspection yet. It's just that I thought I read somewhere that the stock Kenda's usually only last 10-15K. So, I posted my question.

    Another TIre Question...

The front (stock) tires on my 2016 F3-T have about 13,700 miles on them right now, so I expect to have to replace them fairly soon. Last year, I replaced the rear tire with an Altimax. So now I'm looking for recommendations for replacing the fronts - Should they match the rear tire, or would...

    Another Tire Pressure Question.....

I always check the pressure COLD before starting out. That's when I was finding the 0.4 PSI difference. I took the time to even them out exactly before ryding today and I think I noticed an improvement in ride quality. Maybe it's the placebo effect. Thanks, guys!

    Another Tire Pressure Question.....

The reason I ask is that mine consistently differ by 0.4 lbs. Cause for concern?

    Another Tire Pressure Question.....

I'm not asking what pressure you run your tires at...What I'd like to know is how large a tire pressure difference between your two front tires do you consider safe or comfortable? In other words, at what point do you feel you need to even out the pressure readings between the two tires? Just...

Cleaning Under the Front Lip of the Frunk Cover?

Yup - you're right. My mistake. I never thought to open the frunk to get better access to the front lip. :opps: That combo worked great. Thanks!

Cleaning Under the Front Lip of the Frunk Cover?

Actually, this is incorrect. It's not like the hood on a car. The frunk's opening, when open, is on the windshield side, not on the front of the spyder. The gunk I'm talking about is on the front of the spyder (ie - the "hinge" of the frunk).

Cleaning Under the Front Lip of the Frunk Cover?

On my F3-T, the front lip of the frunk cover (or just below it) catches tons of bugs and debris. It's a tight squeeze to get in there, so I'm open to any suggestions for getting it cleaned up. Perhaps there's a thin, soft brush that someone could recommend to get in there without damaging the...

What Height is "Right" For a Windshield

What Height is "Right" For a Windshield

I bought a windshield a few months ago to replace the stock windshield on my F3-T. A number of heights were available to choose from and now I'm wondering whether I picked a height that's too low.... The problem is that I occasionally (not frequently, but not never either) get a bug or debris...

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

FWIW - I don't that the Florida discussion is off-topic at all. After all, one of my main questions was where should I consider snowbirding. <shrug>

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

Yup - you're right. No offense intended. TBH, I was thinking along the same lines when the germ of the idea of snowbirding first popped into my head. I figured that next winter, I'd choose an area or two to explore (No Spyder) to see what might be a good fit for spending more time in (WITH...

I also live in a townhouse with the same rules. Which specific trailer did you purchase? And thank for your thoughts on the Florida roads. It sort of confirms my suspicions.

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

Thanks for your feedback. Honestly, Texas, southwest desert etc sound great, but too far for me. (I'm in the northeast). I hear you loud and clear about Florida coastline. Luckily, I'm not a beach person. (Don't hate it, but don't need it either...) So, Florida's interior would be fine. -...

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

Thanks for all of the input so far, everyone! Keep it coming. Pete, thgis idea of mine isn't much more than a gleam in the eye at this point, so I can't answer all of the questions you posed. But I know that I'm talking about renting for two months or so. Probably one bedroom/bath (It's just...
