• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

With this long winter and slow-to-get-going spring, I'm considering becoming a snowbird for at least part of the winter next year or the year after. Obviously, one thing I will want to do is ride my Spyder while I'm getting thru the winter in a warmer climate. Now, I have no ties to any...

Sena Bluetooth Communicators -A Few Questions

Thanks for the tip about the downloadable manual. I looked at the "GPS Pairing" section, and that's what we had already done, but the communication between us cut out anyway (It's not supposed to....). We'll double-check the settings, and re-pair etc the next time he visits. Thanks!

Sena Bluetooth Communicators -A Few Questions

I own a Sena 20S, which I use with a modular helmet. My brother uses this Sena Model with his half-helmet. Today, we finally got to ride together and it was great to be able to communicate. However, I have two questions: 1. Since he uses a half helmet, his mike is exposed to the open air...

    Replacing ONE Dead Fobo?

One of my three FOBO sensors (rear tire) is apparently dead. I changed the battery on it, but it still won't communicate with my iPad any more. Does anyone know if it's possible to get just ONE replacement sensor somewhere? The other two are working fine. Thanks!

    A Simple B.E.S.T. Warranty Question

Since my factory warranty expires in two months, I'm going to shop around for a good price for the B.E.S.T Extended Warranty. In case anyone I speak with doesn't know what a "Best Warranty" is, what does "B.E.S.T." stand for? Or, in other words, exactly what should I be asking for? Thanks!

    Replacement Gas Cap for F3T?

The stock gas cap on my 2016 F3T is getting more difficult to snap shut with each fill-up. Can anyone recommend a replacement gas cap (It does NOT have to lock) that is easy to install? (I am mechanically-challenged.) Thanks!

Anyone Using in iPad Mini for Navigation, etc?

Well, I keep going back and forth over this. Now I'm leaning towards just keeping what I already have .... separate (TomTom) GPS and old iPod wired to my Sena. (GPS and Sena link via Bluetooth). The only thing I lose is real-time FOBO monitoring -- Right now I check the FOBO pressures before...

    "211" Cycle Cleaner and Spyders

Just bought my first bottle of "211 Cycle Cleaner" and have a few questions - 1. Is it OK to use on the Spyder's bare Tupperware? 2. Pete from "WrapMySpyder" recommends only dish detergent and water on their decals and other products. So what other areas of the Spyder (besides decals and...

Anyone Using in iPad Mini for Navigation, etc?

Thanks. After researching that unit, I came across this. Cheaper and perhaps more practical (?) since there's no physical connection which might break. My only question then is which iOS GPS apps provide turn-by-turn navigation...

Anyone Using in iPad Mini for Navigation, etc?

After posting this thread, I did a little more thinking (Not a good idea - I know ;)) I already own a Bluetooth iPad Mini which would do everything I want (GPS, Music and FOBO Monitoring) while ryding without having to buy an iPhone - and the screen is bigger (easier to read). So, I'm...

For Those Ryding with an iPhone -- A Few Questions, Please

After many years of resistance, I'm finally considering getting an iPhone. Believe it or not, ryding my Spyder has pushed me to this rash decision. Right now I have a Sena 20S, TomTom Bluetooth GPS, a very old non-Bluetooth iPod (that I use for music), and a super-basic flip phone. The...

    Washing Your Spyder....

Thanks guys! Never heard of S-100 so I did some googling and Youtubing. I think I'll give it a try, but have one or two questions first: 1. What do you mean by "running gear"? 2. Can this be used on surfaces with decals (ie - "WrapMySpyder" stuff)? 3. When you rinse, do you use a simple...

    Washing Your Spyder....

Just wondering whether any of you wash your Spyder at one of those self-service car washes? If so, is there anything to avoid or be careful of (other than keeping the seat dry so that you can drive off in comfort)? Thanks!
