• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lifting/Replacing battery in 2018 RTL

    You can easily fashion a "strap" for the new battery with some duct tape, avoiding terminals. I had a hell of time trying to remove a battery from my Spyder. Maybe my hands just aren't strong enough. Admittedly, I removed used, dead or dying batteries by the terminals for years. Didn't worry...

    Scuba My brother does scuba diving, and he suggested using the stuff they use to keep their face-masks clear. It comes in a little bottle and you use a drop or two. I haven't used it yet, because that would involve remembering it and using it. ~Sandee~

    Positive comments about Spyders

    Still Loving It! I love riding my Spyder. If not raining and streets are clear, I ride for most errands as well as some long trips. I'd still be riding my 2010 RT if I hadn't had a crash. Now piling up miles on my 2016RT-L. Really like the semi-automatic feature. Love the great brakes! ~Sandee~
