• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Summer time and removing windshield

I had thought about doing that last year, but bought a used BRP Shorty shield instead. The air feels great and have never re-installed the stock shield. Even in winter I just raise the shorty and it works fine. Have never understood the buy the barn door shields that block all the air. If you...

    FUEL GUAGE ACCURACY

I have found that when the low fuel light comes on, I have about a gallon and a half of gas left. Thats when I start looking for a gas station. I have gone 250 miles on a tank but I dont generally push it that far. Also the Spyder doesnt start sputtering when you are about to run out of gas...

    More discussion on windhields

This is the BRP shorty windshield. A member had one and was looking to sell his on the for sale or buy page. I got mine for $80. Post that you want to buy one on the page and you will probably get a few people answering you back. Some people don't want to feel the wind in their face and look...

    More discussion on windhields

I love my shorty windshield. I think they are 16 1/2 inches tall. Only time I raise it is when its raining and it makes most of the rain go over me.

    Rear tire spin....

Nah, I work nights. A couple guys who ride at work didnt think Cocaine could do a burn out. It was a bit faster than the slow crawl burns, but I proved my point. Had a good amount of smoke but I aint gonna blow a tire out. I gotta get back home after work.

I have done a 167 foot burnout with a little side to side action thrown in. Could have gone further but I ran out of parking lot at work.:yes:

That's what I do too. Except not from WM. They can kiss my A$% Plus, I can use it to dry off the windshield after it has been sitting out overnight while I work.

Looking for some destination or route ideas

Holy Crap, a Letchworth State Park mention. I grew up in Buffalo and my family always spent a week each summer renting a cabin there. Plus numerous trips throughout the year. Beautiful scenery. Every year I go back and play in a golf tournament and the first place I go on the way up is to...

    Golf clubs on an RS?

I have an RTS and just throw the clubs across the passenger seat and use bungie cords to strap them down. I'm not sure if that would work on the RS, but you could always see if it would work. I know there is a company that has a rack especially for the Spyders but I can't think of who it is...

    No longer virgin!

It seems the first time you have to remove panels is always the hardest. You read the manual about 10 times and still aren't sure if you are doing it right. But it will be easier each time you have to do it from now on, and take very little time too.
