• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aggressive riding in the curves question

True dat. A man has got to know his limitations, but if I dont push it, how will I find what my limitations are? I gotta find that fine line and ride on the edge. Hopefully I know right before I am about to cross over so I can reign it back in.

Aggressive riding in the curves question

Unfortunately, most people die living. Life can be so routine. The everyday routine of work, eat, sleep, repeat. Thats why I love doing things to give myself a kick in the butt. Right now, my Spyder on a twisty road is my kick. And if I overcook a turn but make it out in one piece, it is a heck...

Listening to my Ipod/Phone music through my Spyder Speakers?

On my bike, I start it, hit the mode button shows the radio, hit the set button it shows the am band, hit set button it shows the weather station, hit the set again and it will show the IPone or IPod. As long as the phone or ipod is on and hooked up.

Aggressive riding in the curves question

My set up is stock, except for car tires all around. No swaybar, no stiffeners, none of that extra stuff. What I do use is my body. I am either leaning pretty good or hanging off the side of the bike. That and my desire to go as fast as I can using the best cornering techniques that I can. I...

need a little more advice..... 70 mile and hour shudder is not nice

I always just speed up a few mph's. Generally happens to me around 72 mph while going up a hill. I hit 75 and its fine.

Aggressive riding in the curves question

I recently was pushing Cocaine in a turn. I had just put my Federal Evos on and I had been doing 35 and 40 mph over the speed limit in most turns. I decided to hit a 35 mph turn doing 80. It was a flat turn and I didnt dive down to the center line quite as close as I wanted. I kept my speed up...

:agree: When I am really trying I usually only have half my a$& on the seat. Other than that, I just lean.

Ron, you were not the vendor I was referring to. I have only bought one item from you, and you provided excellent customer service. Now I gotta get ready to go to work. Peace everyone!

    RT Sway Bar?

I never accused BajaRon of anything. I wasnt saying you did. It sounded to me like you were saying everyone on this site was promoting Ron when all they were doing was giving their opinions. My bad if I was unclear about that.

    RT Sway Bar?

God I love posts like this one. Nothing like a good argument to brighten my work night/morning. Anyway......I had a 2012RTS and that definitely needed a BajaRon swaybar. Didn't put one on, I just traded it for the 2105RTS I have now. Haven't put a bar on it, and don't plan to. Rides real...

Aggressive riding in the curves question

The Nanny is a good point of reference unless you have car tires on the front. With the stiffer sidewalls, you can pull a lot more G's on turns than the Nanny is comfortable with, and she can interject even when there are no problems with your speed and angle into the turns. Since putting...

2012 RT SE5 iPod Compatability Chart?

You can use an IPhone 6s as long as you have an Apple 30 pin to lightning adapter. It works on mine. If you can find a non Apple adapter that transmits data as well as charges, it should work also. Probably can use any IPhone with the correct adapter.

Has anyone found a way to remove the start delay using the ECO button?

Or you could do what us manual riders do. Turn Key, Hit Eco/Mode, Pull Clutch, Start. We have one less step!!
