• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2022 Spyder F3 release date change

My date on an RT was changed from March to May 12 (shipping from Quebec). I figure by the time the truck gets to Georgia and the dealer assembles all of them, it will be late May by the time I get mine. I'm missing all the nice Spring riding weather.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

22 RT in silver on order. Date was recently pushed from March 28 to May 12. I already sold my Ryker, so I wait--it's getting harder as the weather is getting nicer. The dealer said Can-Am blamed Covid, chip shortages, supply chain problems, and the trucker strike in Canada. When you can't pick...

Anyone received their 2022 Spyder or news on Delivery, Delays, & Omissions?

My dealer just updated me from March 28 to May 14. :banghead:

Anyone received their 2022 Spyder or news on Delivery, Delays, & Omissions?

I put money down in January--was told I was getting the last RT they ordered in the fall that hadn't already been claimed. I was told March, but no word, yet. I sold my Ryker a couple of weeks ago, so I'm getting anxious waiting.

    Any recalls?

I had the wheel nut recall. They told me the steering screw was also recalled for my machine and they did it at the same time. I do have the fuel pump whine occasionally--but I'll be surprised if that's ever recalled.

    Rumor or good info?

I haven't heard anything about 2021 and beyond models. Other than a couple new color panels, some new options, and deleted options--the 2020 model seems to be exactly the same as the 2019s. I love my Ryker--but I have to admit when I took it in for the bolt replacement and sat on some Spyders...

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

Mountain Motorsports is the dealer closest to me. I think everyone in the Atlanta area knows who they are because they bought almost every other power sports dealer in Fulton county. They don’t have a great reputation, they don’t like to negotiate price, when I had them give me a quote they made...

    BEST Warranty

Thanks everyone for your input. Between the fuel pump whine and unknowns of the Ryker, I’m still planning to buy the warranty (although I almost never do for the reasons given earlier). I pulled out my purchase papers and my dealer quoted me $899 so I’m going to see if they’d be willing to come...

    Ryker canister-ectomy???

I had the fuel pump whining at least once a week when it was hot--a couple of times when there was still close to a full tank. Now that temps have dropped, the sound has gone away. I won't be surprised if it comes back next summer--but my ride has never felt starved for fuel so I'm just happy to...

    BEST Warranty

How many of you bought the extended warranty? I didn't--I figured I had a year to decide and I'd wait to see if common issues started popping up. Because it's the first model year, I'm leaning to buying the warranty for a little peace of mind. I think my dealer told me I could get the 36 months...

RECALL - ALL 2019 and 2020 Ryker Models - Wheel Nuts

I called the closest dealer to me. They told me they wouldn’t order the parts until I brought it in. They had one that had been parked in their service center for 10 days and parts still weren’t in. A couple days later the dealer where I bought mine called me up and said they had the new wheel...

    Ryker Ryders, where are you????

I'm in North Atlanta. I've had my Ryker for about 3 months and have 850 miles on it. I ride it to work probably 4 times per week (I've been fortunate rain has been scarce lately). I maybe see one Spyder per month and have never seen another Ryker, but the dealers around here can't keep them in...

Loud whining sound at idle after a fairly short run

Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind and ask them to look at it when I take it for the 3k check.

Loud whining sound at idle after a fairly short run

Mine is making this sound, and I only seem to hear it when it’s hot. Sometimes, though, I get the hum when I turn on the computer (before I start the engine). Could that still be the fuel pump? If so, why would the fuel pump hum if the engine isn’t running? I thought it might be the alternator.

Loud whining sound at idle after a fairly short run

This happened to me again yesterday—but same situation as the first time. Temps were about 90 and the gas was down to the last two bars. On the third trip of the day I stopped to fill up and no more humming. It doesn’t worry me—there have been a lot of noises come and go on my Ryker but it runs...

    What's Wrong with the Ryker?

I was thinking the same, only Honda. If you only ever ride Goldwings and you think a new Rebel will be the same thing, you’ll be really disappointed. Sounds like the rant was from someone that wanted a Spyder for under $10k and was upset that it’s not.

Loud whining sound at idle after a fairly short run

I just heard the whining today. It was hot--about 88 degrees in GA. I'd been riding about 25 minutes when I heard it at a stop light. I heard it at the last couple of lights and in my garage when I got home--the noise stopped immediately when I cut the power. Definitely not the fan--I heard the...

    600 vs 900 newbie

I got the 900 so I could ride 2 up. I know some people said they've done 2 up on the 600, but at least where I live it's pretty hilly and I'd expect the 600 to struggle. The Ryker with 2 adults is going to weigh about 1000 pounds--which is a lot for a 600 engine to move around.

My 900 ACE was $11,100 OTD before all the accessories I added on.

    200 mile review

I got my Ryker a couple of weeks ago and just hit my 200 mile break in period and thought I'd share my thoughts as someone coming from a motorcycle. I got to test ride the Ryker at a ride event in Atlanta--and despite it being a super slow slog through a small course, it was enough to convince...
