• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks, you have obviously a 14 or 15 what cutting of the seat was necessary do you remember? If you have the plug wouldnt you just slide it through and attach the bracket on the underside?

Show Chrome Backrest on 2014 RT

reviving this thread. Thinking about one of these and wonder what cuts were necessary on the newer models with the seat plug? Looks like in the picture above maybe the plug itself had to be cut? How about the 3" forward backward adjustment they say it has? I am fairly short and think if maybe it...

    BRP Extended Warranty

glad someone brought this post back to life cause i could not get a copy of the best contract either. Although the dealer did swear up and down it covered pretty much everything but wear and tear items like brakes or tires. Im printing this out to put in my file.

    Whats the difference

im in the minority but i didnt think the S was worth the 3000 and the limited another 3000 more. I liked the base fenders better and wasnt interested in the chrome, or most likely chromed plastic, pieces or fog lights which are useless here in l.a. I would have liked the button adjustable rear...

RT foot boards on the cheap

Well $950 if comparing to the BRP floorboards. thanks for the info! i will consider those. Its either something like that or the inspector gadget ones with the heel toe shifter (i have an SM6)

For those of us that do ride with our Phones - what about the rain?

i either leave mine in the trunk connected to the stereo or in the glovebox connected to my helmet. I never look at a GPS map usually just spells disaster and since they talk the directions into your ear (bluetooth) or through the speakers dont really need it. But good idea for those who must...

    2015 RTL Question

i have a 15 RT, not L but there is no difference as far as heat is concerned and no issues, of course i havent had it in summer yet but i can already tell way cooler than my brothers 2012 RT. I think you must have misread the year, the 2013 had a big heat issues!

RT foot boards on the cheap

I too am looking for floorboards and passed out when i saw the cost of the BRP ones. The inspector gadget look like my only option till i saw these. They do look like they should be turned around, was that because the holes didnt line up or something? little unclear on the metal pieces. Do they...

    brp catalog

Your right, it is just you :roflblack: i do talk about all kinds of stuff in a bar, its called conversation / socializing. i do vote with my wallet, i would never pay the prices they are asking for 99% of this stuff. If for no other reason than principle. There are too many other vendors out...

    Yes we're moving on up

7% no good, definitaly get the 15. I actually didnt think the fog lights, passengers heated grips and LEDs were worth the 3k extra for the S but i seem to be in the minority there. The button adjustable suspension was nice but you can manaully adjust on the base and i liked the base fenders...

GPS: To use one or not to use one ????

i consider it a must, but would never spend a few hundred on one when its free on your phone. i transmit it into the blue tooth on my helmet, for RT riders you could just plug your phone into the rear to get it through the stereo system. I use it not just for directions but if you goto google...

    2015 RTS prices?

That is a good deal. still not sure the extras are worth $4600 (paid 18,999) for my base. But that is a great deal on a limited. but to answer the questio if there are 15s out there you should be able to get a great deal on one.

    brp catalog

i think the best word to describe the prices is "criminal" $1000 for floorboards? thats two pieces of metal and rubber. Crazy. Im not sure of the exact weight of each but lets assume they are a couple pounds each. that would make each floorboard slightly more expensive than pure silver.

LITHIUM - ION -PHOSPHATE Batteries from Deltran

So if they are producing the battery in this size i would have to imagine that spyders and motorcycles alike are using them. Normally they run pretty good tests on this kind of thing. Other than the weight difference are there other differences, lasts longer, or not as long etc?

Has anyone ordered one of these key fobs?

OEM sheath Thats odd, i absolutely love the OEM Sheath, it allows you to hook to a key chain and the remove to put in the bike so you dont have to worry about a ring or other keys dangling and scratching the spyder. Lots of people have had them for years without the key ever coming out. In fact...
