• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    $10K Spyders for 2019

I'm gonna guess that it's short for R(ally) (b)YKER, or something like that.

    $10K Spyders for 2019

Speaking for myself .... I was always quite taken by the saying that ... something was ugly in so many ways that it was POSITIVELY BEAUTIFUL!!! How can anyone gutsy enough to buck two-wheel tradition and ride something as breath-takingly different as a Spyder or Ryker ever think of themselves...

    2018 F3L cruise control

you also mentioned mirror issues... If you're having issues with your mirrors rattling and/or vibrating, you're not alone - a number of folks with F3's have experienced the same. There are posts on here describing fixes. Here's the breakdown of a very quick, easy and inexpensive solution that...

Anyone trade an RT for a F3? Which is best for passenger ride?

another pic of an Ultimate seat on an F3L Saw the request for a pic; here's another look at an Ultimate one-piece seat on a 2017 F3L, very similar to what hillbillywhisperer has, just color-matched to go with the red, and same arm rests. My lady liked the stock seat on the F3L better than the...

To cover or not to cover...

my experience.... fwiw I have a 2017 F3L (with rear top case/side bags). At time of purchase, I had the dealer order me a BRP trailering cover, which I thought I'd likely need since I planned to take the Spyder south from Ontario to Florida each winter, and make it a year-round toy. I had...

    Travel Trailer Camping in Canada

re border crossings Pete: I wholeheartedly agree with Gary's comment just above, and sincerely suggest that you don't provoke any border resistance by bringing along a weapon that you really don't care about having confiscated. Here's why: I'm a fairly frequent border crosser, and now spend...

    Travel Trailer Camping in Canada

hope this helps... Hey Pete: Wishing you a safe and enjoyable trip. While traversing Ontario (where I live), if you don’t want to spend nights in private campgrounds, you could try the Ontario Provincial Parks, all of which are well-kept, pretty safe, usually quite scenic and near water...

    WOW - Picture

at first glance, I thought maybe this was the BRP "northern edition" - adapted for plowing snow... and perhaps this one was headed for speed record trials at Bonneville Salt Flats. Very intriguing... and delightful to see.

Engine noise at cold start-up in '18 F3 Limited Anniversary Edition

me too I've always felt that our 2017 F3L was rather "uncomfortably noisier" than expected and more "metal-icky sounding" than I would really like. However, following others' advice to "ryde more, worry less", I have grown to (mostly) ignore and (grudgingly) accept it. For the first few...

    F3T or F3L

We chose, and very happily ryde, a 2017 F3L. There was a substantial price differential between the two when we bought - much more for the L. Define your needs; then address your wants. If you plan to do any great amount of 2-up ryding and/or any possibility of touring, I think it's worth...

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

Just to explain... I don't want to be misunderstood concerning my comments on various windshield choices mentioned above. Shields, like seats, are a very 'personal comfort' issue. I'm still experimenting, and not at all sure that I am yet done. Other possibilities remain untried. I'm searching...

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

once again, we're discussing similar issues Hey Bert: Again, we're looking for solutions to similar issues. Uncanny, eh?? ... Here's what I posted recently on another thread which discussed windshield choices: As of now, I have ridden my 2017 F3L with four very different windscreens - 1) the...

    F3T - Rattling Mirror - 5 minutes solution !

Do as Pete suggests... :agree: with Pete; try double-sided tape (or just double over a small piece of tape so that it has two sticky sides). A very quick, easy and inexpensive fix that will cure both the shakiness and the vibration noise. Simply pull off cover. Remove the screw that holds...

It's Not The 4th Of July....

and a Canadian example... North of the 49th parallel, we have a good example of a holiday, mostly now just called by its calendar date name, and for which many are unaware of what it truly stands for, or why. It's our "24th of May" holiday. Originally, it was known as "Victoria Day", in honour...

It's Not The 4th Of July....

Yes, of course...BUT Of course, you are absolutely correct... it is the EVENT which is the reason for the celebration, NOT the day it happens to fall upon. However, the ESSENCE of that celebration may depend upon one's personal perspective..... For example, in relation to the recent...

    F3S drink holder

Had exactly the same problem, Goldie, with a similar cup holder. Manufacturer stated it was specifically made to fit my 2017 F3L, but when in place (attached to multi-function switch housing), it blocked 60% of my left mirror. I fixed the problem by buying a piece of flat aluminum bar about 1/2"...

    Initial impressions F3 Limited

Absolutely agree ... with every point of your initial assessment of the F3L. I ryde the 2017 version. As your ryding time increases, you'll love the handling more and more, especially in the twisties, where you can carve your turns. Yes, the BRP computerized program is slow to downshift on its...

Admore Smart Brake Light Bar on an F3-T?

Yes, it can be programmed in many, many ways; the Admore site can explain. I believe this can be done from a smart phone as well as laptop. I haven't really played around much with mine yet, but plan to do so. And, yes, have ridden in group rides and have had others tell me they thought it was...
