• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yet another windshield thread for F3

Thanks, I Needed That I needed to hear what another six footer had to say about the Blue Ridge windshield out in the real world. I'm not sure what kind of helmet you use. I usually wear a half helmet which will pull and try to strangle me without a windshield. I did demo an F3 on Monday of...

    Blue ridge windshield

Another Picture I'd like to see this windshield on the F3 with a six foot tall rider on the seat so that we can get some sort of idea how tall this set-up is or could be adjusted to. Pictures speak a thousand words each.

    F3...Bump-skid

On the Video On the video the guy from Pitbull and another guy who works for Lamonster Garage went and looked at Lamont's customized F3 which had a Spyderpops Bump-Skid on it.

    F4 Windshilds

F4 for F3 I keep seeing the great reviews for the F4 brand windshields for the RT and hope they have one developed for the "hotrod" cruiser F3 soon. BRP has kind-of "dropped the ball" so-to-speak by only offering the Blue Ridge model as their tallest, which only works for short people.

    OUTRAGEOUS

True Duals I'm thinking "true duals" a type of exhaust system found on "bagger" motorcycles with one pipe or muffler on each side that fit under a pair of saddlebags. My last two motorcycles were "baggers" with this type of system. This could look good on the F3 with a set of nice sized...

    i need a windshield

Width & Height The Mastad windshield in the picture apparently has enough height to do the job for us six feet and over. It does look a bit narrow, especially at the bottom part. Without having tried one I cannot speak as to how effective it is or how "quiet" the air pocket behind the...

    i need a windshield

Winglets??? I'm seeing what looks like a pair of small clear acrylic winglets behind the Mastad windshield on each side of the instrument panel. Are these part of the Mastad system or are they something else separate?? Could they be to reduce the turbulence coming around the sides of the...

Yet another windshield thread for F3

Flared Windshields I currently have a 7Jurock with "flip" on my 2012 Victory Cross Country. Flip or flared windshields have a flared lip at the top which kicks the airflow up over your head. Klockwerks has them and National Cycle has one called the V-Stream. I can only hope a major...

Yet another windshield thread for F3

Helpful Data The most helpful data on the Blue Ridge windshield height so far given on this forum is that the height measured from the rider's seat up is 19 inches. I used that 19" and used a tape measure going up from my desk chair and 19" comes about to my collar bone. I'm six feet tall so...

    i need a windshield

So Far.... The Mastad is the only one that looks tall enough, at least when adjusted that way. They appear to be the first aftermarket manufacturer to have an alternative windshield ready. I'm sure the other makers aren't far behind in getting their own designs out to market.

    Blue ridge windshield

How Tall?? I'm six feet tall and am very interested in the Mastad. I'm curious how tall you are and if have you ridden with it and gotten it adjusted to suit you. I would guess the owner would have to experiment with the adjustments to find the sweet spot that works best. Is this their...

    Finally Got to Demo One

#5 it is My legs were pretty cramped on the factory #3 peg setting. Tough to use the brake & shifter correctly but it was a short ride, maybe 10 miles or so. I did get up to about 60 mph a couple times and 5th gear is good down to about 40 mph with plenty of torque to roll-on with. Looked...

    Finally Got to Demo One

It reached a balmy for March 63 degrees here so I took a full-face helmet along in order to do this demo knowing the F3 doesn't come with a windshield. I fired up my Victory and rode over to American Powersports in Findlay Ohio and after some talking and waiting they rolled this Magnesium...

    Fed Regulations for 3-wheeled vehicles

Lines of Demarcation The word enclosed is key here as it will establish a line of demarcation between 3 wheel motorcycles and 3 wheel automobiles. This will apply to licensing, safety regulations, fuel economy standards and insurance. Basically it will eliminate many gray areas that current &...

    Missed that rumble

Rumbled Yesterday While it's not a Spyder (yet) I did get my "rumble" on yesterday, March 15th. I checked my 2012 Victory Cross Country's tire pressures and got them inflated properly and added air to my rear air shock. Checked all the lights & horn and then went for my first ride of 2015. I...

    F3 two up?

Bottoming Out I was wondering if there would be any bottoming out issues with a passenger. Probably depends upon the combined weight of the rider and his passenger though. I'm about 220 pounds and my wife is about 150. Does the Fox shock upgrade have an adjustable preload? I'm also thinking...

I clicked the link I used the link above and it still was at $50 per ticket on their website. Perhaps they have a different link for the updated version with the $25 tickets.
