• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 MPG (Tuned vs. Untuned)

Running a fairly moderate tune, however, I've got a pretty twisty commute to work through the canyons...and I like to get on it. I have noticed that the MPG has been increasing over the past couple of tanks. I only have 1,200 miles on the bike. The ECU could still be adjusting.

    F3 MPG (Tuned vs. Untuned)

Fellow F3'ers: I'm curious to know what kind of MPG differences you guys and gals are seeing between your tuned and un-tuned rigs. I didn't have my Spyder very long before I slapped the Dynojet module on it. I'm currently seeing ≈ 32 MPG in mixed riding. How about some of you other folks...

Break down: Can-am Spyder in California

Sorry to hear that, brother :( I hate when places don't honor military service.

    F3 GPS/Cell Phone Mount Options

Road-Kill, I'd keep it clean...just the GPS in terms of ancillary electronics. I'm old school on the clothing front: layers, layers, and MORE layers when the mercury drops :doorag:

    F3 GPS/Cell Phone Mount Options

Definitely valid points. My cell phone was my go to GPS on my RS-S (as it is in my truck, as well).

    F3 GPS/Cell Phone Mount Options

Fellow F3'ers: I've been deliberating about a GPS mount for my F3S...just wondering what some of you guys and gals are running? The "no-brainer" option is the Can Am mount for the Garmin 590 unit (Can Am Part # 219400681). Just wondering if anyone had a simpler option (i.e. something akin to...

Break down: Can-am Spyder in California

I've had good experience with AV Honda Motorsports (the Lancaster, CA. dealer). Purchased my '16 RS-S from them last September and then my F3S from them a couple weeks ago. They've got a super knowledgeable Can Am tech in Kelly Baker. He installed all of my aftermarket add ons (including my NOT...

Reputable dealers in southern California? seeing horror stories on Yelp.

Purchase-wise, I have had GREAT experience with AV Honda Motorsports in Lancaster, CA. (Antelope Valley area). Purchased my RS-S and F3S from Chris and Perry...great team! Their service department is top notch and they have one of the most knowledgeable Can Am techs there I have ever met (Kelly...

    Cruise Control

Took me a little while to get comfortable with the cruise, too. I'm coming from a virtually NO motorcycling background. A few hours on the Spyder just tooling around on the backroads really goes a long way in getting familiar/comfortable with all the controls! :)
