• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Searching for BRP GPS Mount for RT

That's what I'm afraid of... Given that the Garmin 660 can be purchased for ~$650-700, and the BRP kit costs $1,200, it would be nice if someone created a 3rd party pedestal similar to the kit mount.:gaah:

Searching for BRP GPS Mount for RT

I'm looking for the BRP GPS mount for the RT. It is part number 709400662 and included with the Can-Am Zumo GPS kit. I have the Garmin 660 and am looking for just this single part/mount. Anyone have one for sale?

Help with RT side compartment access...

Fixed... A fair big of slapping and cajoling finally released the clasp. Re-adjusted cable and release works as designed. Duh...another swift move on my part... :dontknow:

Help with RT side compartment access...

While installing Triple Play lights on my RT, I absentmindedly noodled with the lock cable running to the right side compartment. Once I had everything back together, I discovered that I could not open that compartment. I must have changed the cable length just enough so that the lever on the...

    Members Roadside Assistance

Minor fix... Per suggestion, I separated the city and state/province; but left a place for "Near" if desired. Also added a second column for telephone number...in this day of home and cell, etc.

Count me in...Las Vegas :agree: Great idea. I'd be more than happy to help with riders who visit the Vegas valley. And meeting new friends is a bonus. Lamonster - Could we have a link to a database on this website where we could voluntarily enter our contact information?

    Zumo 660 Touratech Locking Mount

660 vs 665 I still trying to decide whether to go with the 660 or wait for the 665. I certainly am attracted to the ability to have real time tracking of weather. On the other hand, the 665 cost bumps up pretty dramatically. Happy with your 660?

    2010 RT SE Grates

Does anyone know why the RT has a black grate on the left side (near the "air wings") but not on the right side? The asymmetry seems odd. Is it to ensure maximum airflow to/from the electric fan? Another reason...?

    RT Panel Removal Guide

Does anyone know if a written guide to the removal of RT panels has ever been published? I realize that in some cases, the extent and order of removal is obvious, but in others, it would appear less so. Neither the Owner's Manual or Midwest Shop Manual cover this seemingly basic issue...

    2010 RT: Wake-Up & Triple Play

Has anyone found lighting devices like Wake-Up and Triple Play for the 2010 RT that DON'T require some conversion/modification? I'd like to employ one of them, but Wake-Up doesn't seem to fit the 2010 RT and Triple Play requires an expensive conversion. It also appears that few of the lighting...

    Just logged my first 50...

That's why we're here... I've shoveled enough snow and raked enough leaves for a lifetime. You can ride and play golf 12 months of the year. For those who are turned off by Vegas, I remind them that it's just a big buffet - do what you want and leave the rest behind. Reach out if you get...

    Just logged my first 50...

Hey, animal lover... Nice color? Aww...you're just saying that. We used to live in MA and CT. Camping in Jaffrey and free beers at the brewery in Manchester. Dad worked in the Navy Yard in Portsmouth. Animal lover? We, too. Our daughter's an internal medicine specialist vet in Manhattan...

    License to ride.

Thanks for the post... Your post is exactly what age and experience has been screaming at me from the back of my head. DMV and law enforcement don't sing necessarily from the same page and what DMV says won't help if you have a conflict with a law. Mea culpa on that "first ride." I'll try...
