• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Count me in! I've been waiting to get some miles on the Spyder before joining in on a long distance ride. The Wife-L-Unit and I are planning on going to Laughlin, NV in the spring for bike get together on the River. It would be neat to hit both events in one trip. Let me know when and where

I'll have a bit more long distance under my belt shortly with a couple of trips planned for...

    Corbin seat question

To add on to AtaDude's comments. Agree that the instructions left a bit to be desired (especially for $1,100). Copies of copies, so bad that it was hard to tell which end of the front seat riser connected to the seat. I'm not a mechanic and with finding tools, reading and re-reading...

    First measured tank.

Shunkmanitu Actually, I was pretty sure the gas mileage would be meh even before I bought it. To date, I've not done the math to figure mileage exactly and, quite frankly, I really don't care if its 32.4 or 31.5 MPG. Whatever the actual mileage is it is way better than my truck and its also...

    Vendor Experiences

Cal-Sci. Without a doubt the best web site, instant confirmation email, shipped same day, got tacking number automatically and delivered within 2-3 days. Now they set the bar for me. :2thumbs:

    new windshield

Was that the Cal-Sci windshield? I got one and liked it, but ruined it when re-installing it. When I replace it, I would however, look at other options as it wasn't doing what I wanted which was keeping the wind off me when I had my modular helmet face shield up for fresh air (and heat relief...

    Tire pressure recommendations

Hey all I searched first to see if there was a consensus on tire pressure recommendations but it didn't seem conclusive. I've already jacked up the front and rear pre-load springs to max settings and would assume tire pressure is the next setting to mess with. Any suggestions would be...

    Be careful with those windshields

The other day, when I was re-installing my Cal-Sci windshield after my NMN 4" riser install, I did a really dumb thing.....I wound up over torquing the windshield :yikes: and cracked it in all four holes. I should have known better as the initial install was with a screwdriver torx bit and it...

What's better; 1" BRP riser + 3" NMN risers, or 4" NMN risers?

I just completed the install of the 4" risers tonight. I only went around the block twice to test them, but they feel very different and much better. Because you can change the angle of the 4" risers, you can change the height and pull back and my cables allowed me to be pretty flexible with the...

Pre-Orders Now Being Taken For Handle Bar Cover Inserts

Understand the intellectual property issue. I like the idea. I thought the handle bars had an unfinished look to them after seeing so many premier edition bars, the non-PE looked empty. The price seems reasonable too. NEW MOD ! ! !

My last mod- Lamonster Cold Air Intake

My daughter took her Mom's Honda Accord to college. When she came back, her boyfriend had put a wing on the back of it. Mind you, this is a four door sedan, a "Mom Car" and it had a ricer wing on it. Oh yeah, when you got a small engine a thumping and it gets up to 70 MPH, you gotta have a wing...
