• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front end wobble

Thank you all for suggestions and I installed POWER commander, not pedal. :) I do have Ron’s swaybar and fox podium 1.5 with rebound adjustment and elka rear with rebound adjustment. I will try dropping the psi on all 3 and add little more preload on front shock.

    Front end wobble

Suspension has been the most challenging thing on spyder. I don’t have much experience on other mechanical work(never changed oil in any vehicle before buying the first spyder 13 years ago) neither but I’ve been able to get enough info especially from spyderlovers and watching YouTube to do a...

    Front end wobble

I should have given the whole story. I bought the 3 year old RS with 700 miles on it and it was darting under braking but without consistency. Sometimes it would dart right other times left and sometimes it didn’t dart at all. A lot of that was cured after replacing the fronts with vredestein...

    Front end wobble

2015 RS with vredestein tires at 20lb and fox 1.5 shock with adjustable rebound. It wobbles a bit at hard braking and hard acceleration. Well, wobble at hard braking and loose at hard acceleration would be more accurate. Laser alignment was done and rotor seemed ok when I checked while...

    Thank you for all help

15 Rs has different airbox and flair is at the other end and won't work like older RS but i don't like the JT's airbox anyway so will take it off and put stock airbox back without the resonator. its too loud for me even with the pre-filter. it makes listening to music harder at high speed and...

    Thank you for all help

Also got rid of stock air box, replaced HID that was causing humming noise in sound system with fanless LED for head/fog light and installed power commander, bajaron’s spark plug and cable.

    Thank you for all help

With help of many here and bajaron, I was able to replace all brake pads, bleed brake lines which I’ve never done before. Brake pads and bleeding wasn’t bad but little daunting at first. bajaron's pads are an improvement for sure but i had to bother him few times with things i wasn't sure about...

    1077 brake light bulb equivalent

Thank you and I wanted to get spyderpops all in one, marker/turn/brake led but he says I can’t get it without strobe brake lights. I’ve been behind vehicles with strobe brake lights and found it to be distracting and very very annoying and don’t want it on my spyder. 1157 is installed and I’m...

    1077 brake light bulb equivalent

I forgot which bulb I replaced brake light bulb with before as 1077 is not readily available on 2015 RS. Was it 1157? Thank you in advance.

    Questions Regarding Elka Shocks

I am definitely not happy with stage 2 rear on my RS. I gave them my weight and whatever else they asked but when I installed it it was bottoming out bad and took about 12 turns to get 1 “ compression with me on it. It was still bottoming out here and there, 2 more turns and now it’s bit firm...

Opinion on Fox Podium 1.5 front shocks

I got those on my 2015 RS per recommendation from bajaron and they fit and work fine. Quite few other RS ryders have used them and probably work on ST too. I paid $259 from eBay but that was 2 years ago. :)

Help Me Decide!! Going to wrap my tricycle this weekend!

Wash and clean with alcohol real good. Job success will depend on it and if there are curves beyond limit of how much vinyl can stretch, you will need primer. Part like below will not stay without the primer.

998cc JT Spyder Store's CnC Machined Air Intake

I got mine last month and he had the air intake but not the pre filter so I kept bugging him(nicely:) )til he put a pre filter together so I can get them together. I had a different brand, old evoluzione air intake and it was LOUD. And this is not his full time gig and he just works on it when...

    "Shock" prices!

I paid $600 for rear elka and I m not happy. They ask questions about my weight and riding habits but received shock with stock setting. Elka tech support is pretty bad also. They seem like they no longer cared(if you can get hold of them) since sale was made.

    Any suggestions on good Inverters?

Best inverter is no inverter but if you must, make sure that you get full sine wave inverter. $100 for laptop size inverter is good.

    New brake pads???

Even for person like me that metal retainer seemed too close to rotor but I wasn’t sure. I guess it was the backing plate??? What i thought was the brake pad... Emailing Ron for invoice for new pads

    New brake pads???

Quite possible that I don’t know the difference between actual pad from backing plate.

    New brake pads???

This question was from a person that never checked or changed a brake pad before so what’s obvious to you may not be so for me.:) I asked bajaron first since I will be getting new pads from him but got conflicting answer from in house mechanic(replace right away).
