• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nothing spells BRP abandoning the 2013s like the release of the 2014s. Add to that the big sell off and deep discounts adding salt to their wounds and it's easy to see why there's so much negativity here lately. To me, rewarding BRP by dumping 2013s they made a huge profit on for 2014s they...

Need help deciding about a 2014

One thing to also keep in mind. While your 2011 will be worth less next year, so will the 2014 you paid a mint for. The difference between a 2014 purchased on the date of release compared to a year end clearance will likely more than make up for the depreciation on the year older 2011. Just...

    used can am values

Dealers love NADA, because the banks will loan up to the full listed value. So, they can add tax, accessories, warranty and is some cases a super high profit margin and still get the bike financed. If you're selling to an individual, NADA means nothing. KBB will be much closer to the real...

Current update on my 13 RT-S

Lose the splash pans and do all of the above. Wrap the pipes and insulate what you can. It all adds up to a comfy ride. Gone are the days when you could tell your shop something is wrong and have them listen. Now they plug machines in and if no code shows up, it aint broke. I just ended up...

No heat issues after removing splash pans on ST and RT

Ever wonder what would happen if car companies decided to cover up the entire bottom of the car with splash pans? Wonder why this doesn't seem strange to some in the design room! Hmmmm...let's see...heat rises, so we want to make sure to seal everything up good and tight up above and to make...

Like it or not it's comming

I remember the fed giving us plenty of time to adjust to unleaded back in the 80s...NOT. The only thing most manufacturers have done is issued warnings of voided warranties with the use of E15. It's not like anything else hasn't been shoved down our throats.

    My New 2014 RT S SE-6

The first release is usually a bad time to buy or trade most anything....financially that is. I still think the 2013 will end up being a great ride, but with folks rushing to dump theirs will only prolong any fixes and further soften a somewhat questionable 2013 market. The dealer closest to...

Like it or not it's comming

That crap can't run in either of my cars without an additive to offset it. It'll make a mess of the Spyder too. Tell me again how adding that crap to already crappy gas saves the environment when engines run like crap on it and burn more? :gaah: Did I say crap enough times? :gaah: :gaah...

Must have been the evap canister!!!

Thankfully the electric and hybrids aren't using the old school batteries, but they tend not to make me feel much better. There is some serious current buzzing around those things and all you have to do is stick your tongue on the wrong thing and you're well done.

Must have been the evap canister!!!

Not to get off topic, but then there's really no topic! You need to put the same firebird on your new Spyder. It would look really nice against the orange, yet somewhat hidden. It's become your signature and some of us will miss it. :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
