• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Things better/safer than a 2 wheeler.....

    :agree:The condition of the roads out here with sand, gravel, water, (people draining pools and Fire Dept. flushing hydrants) is a constant hazard. I have had several friends go down in past years and now I don't worry about it. It is great peace of mind. :2thumbs:

    :agree: I would like to attend the event in MV but it is to far away. We go to SpyderFest and that is a 1300 mile trip each way. If a second event was in Colorado, Utah, or Arizona it would be great. Hope this can be considered. :clap:

    If this gets past an ***** veto and becomes law, it will be the best thing for drivers and vehicles since this crap was put into gas. Let's hope it happens.

    Elka Testimonials

    Got my Elka's at SpyderFest and the improvement over the stock 2010's is great. While riding with 2 up, the "ROLL" that I had with the stocks is gone and I can take the turns twice as fast. Great improvement.:ohyea:

    I agree with Doug B, about Starthon. I started using it a few months ago and the Spyder runs better and my mileage went up 2-3 mpg. Great stuff.

    I try to do all the rides I can with the ALR and PGA. All the missions are important but the KIA and the Funeral for older vets are the hardest.

    We have at least two of those in Havasu. One rides with the ALR and could not afford a full trike conversion after he could not ride 2 wheels anymore. This was the only option to keep the wind in their face. You have to adapt when you get older. :spyder:

    If the seller does not accept Pay Pal than I would never purchase it. I do not always use Pay Pal if I know and trust the seller, but always use it if there is any question.

    Out here we learn that the cool vests and neck coolers are the only way to ride in the summer. Go out early and come home before it gets above 110. A couple of bottles of cold water helps also.

    Chrome coated plastic

    I have heard that using a power washer on the chrome with paint pieces will cause this to happen. Don't know if it is true as I don't use a power washer on those parts.
