• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Heat in glove box

On a hot day it will cook in there, I have my phone up on the bars with a Ram mount which has adjustable side brackets and a spring loaded claw on top, and no worries about losing your phone with this mount as it has taken huge impact landings on my sled that you would never see on a street...

Does anyone know if Wick-It is open

The ecu is going in for service and not for sale, the shipping value shouldn't cause any issues with Revenue Canada. I'm not shipping an ECU for $1.00 insurance.

    Fuels for Spyders?

I've been using Fitch Fuel catalyst in my jerry cans for the past 20 years, it keeps the ethanol fuel fresh for all my two stroke and four stroke tools and toys. https://fitchfuelcatalyst.com/

    Fuels for Spyders?

BRP recommends premium which in my parts is 93 octane 10% ethanol, I see many here using 87 octane with no issues, now I'm guessing that BRP has the engine mapped for 91-93 octane and at lower octanes the knock sensor kicks in and the ECU pulls timing, and then it seems there are no issues with...

Is that the difference between the stock bars on the F3 Limited an the short reach bars? That looks like a solid 6"+ shortening of the reach.....I'm just looking for 2", if that's the short reach it might put be back on the passenger seat LOL

    '18 F3L Handle bars ???'s ...

AR, how much closer do the short reach bars bring the grips to your body? I'm 5'-8" and the stock bars were good for me last year (3,800 miles) but now I've rode a couple hundred miles the past few days and the reach is now aggravating a pinched nerve I have in my left shoulder blade.

    Using ramps for oil changes

I do the same as Steve, even with ramps you would have to lay on the floor, so why dick around with ramps? Just curious.

Most two wheelers I see wave, I also ride with friends who ride HD's, Honda's, Zuk's Kawi's, Can Am's, etc. I also get lot's of compliments and lookers when in a parking lot. You ride what you wanna ride, and I'll ride what I wanna ride

    Thin waterproof gloves recommendation

Gore-Tex is the solution, pricy but if you're serious about riding in the rain it is the best solution. https://www.revzilla.com/waterproof-motorcycle-gloves

    RAM X-Grip

This is what I use on my sled and Spyder, I've rolled my sled and the phone never came loose, and for the record the phone mount on your Spyder will never come close to seeing the mile after mile hits that occur on a snowmobile, I've used this mount since 2012, 30,000 miles and have pounded the...

    Touring pants

I have a Klim Carlsbad jacket, and I have Cabela's Rainy River pants in the frunk they are nice lightweight and most importantly they are GoreTex, now if I was going to be doing a touring trip at this time of year or early spring I would replace the Rainy River pants and stow my Cabela's...

    Oil Drain Plug Removal

With people talking about what a fight it is to loosen the plugs you have to think at those relatively low torque settings that they have a gorilla in Austria who doesn't have a calibrated air torque wrench sending those plugs home.
