• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil Drain Plug Removal

Am I correct in asuming you just rap the plug bolt with a hammer before inserting the driver? Also what do you think about going after it with a 1/2" impact wrench? What does BRP recommend for a torque setting? I'm curious as to why they are so tight.

How to gear up to ride comfortably and safely in really hot weather?

Lots of entertaining and informative reading here, the key being evaporative cooling and knowing when to vent and how much to vent, of course we know a lot of this is common sense which isn't always so common

    ride on tire sealant.

I've used Slime in my ATV's, but quite frankly I have never used it in my on road vehicles and don't think I ever will, and I also question the effectiveness of any product that claims to seal and balance a tire. In any event I have tire plugs to fix punctures on the car and truck, and I carry a...

Another BuRP cheap move, nothing like being in the bush at -40 and having a dead battery and no pull string.

    Bike will not start

You should not have to keep your battery on the Tender with your schedule, in fact if you ride your Spyder only once every other month you should be good to go without the Tender, my guess is that the battery was either never fully charged and the setup guy was cranking the tunes while setting...

Can-Am Spyder vs Gold Wing Trike Handling

I have only rode a GW trike for about 15 miles and from that experience I can tell you that I would absolutely crush a trike on either a track or road with my F3 Limited, there just isn't any question as to which machine has superior handling.

Ball Bearings & Metal Ring Found in Engine Oil During 3K Mile SVC - Help!

BRP should have either told the dealer to crack the engine open to see the extent of the damage or requested the engine get sent back to Valcourt, in any event they should make the bike whole by replacing the engin with a new one.

Review: Should I Keep Her or Trade Her

First off if you're not going to be riding the 2013 I say get rid of it, secondly I wouldn't even look at a 2019 RT, it would either be the 2019 F3 Ltd. or the new for 2020 RT.

    Can Am goes electric

For sh1ts and giggles go to a Tesla dealer and test drive an S Model with Ludicrous Mode.............I was still grinning ear to ear several hours later after launching that car in Ludicrous Mode, I also drove a 600 HP car to that test drive that then felt slow after the Tesla drive. Electric...

I'll have to try that this winter, although it doesn't make sense seeing Bombi has been using DESS in sleds for many years before the Spyders came to market.
