• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP "Sytstem" resulting in lost customer

The more things change, the more they stay the same. I remember waiting over 3 months to get a Harley dirt bike fixed back in the 70's. If you're the one with the unusual bike, you have to wait in line for the "unusual" tech to come available. That said, I'm glad my can-am dealer here is a large...

    Bike is packed!

Santa Fe was a good place to stop, for sure. Beautiful city.

What Tire gauge are you all using?

That's what mine looks like too. Nice and accurate.

    Throw away new factory tires?

So far, I've got 1000 miles on my month-old new 2018 RTL. The Kenda's seem pretty grippy to me. Just took the RTL up into the mountains near Red River NM, north of Taos, a 350 mile round trip on some of the twistiest roads and switchbacks you'll ever see and I felt confident the whole time. I do...

    Hi There

I bought my 2018 RTL at R&S Powersports on Lomas Ave in Albuquerque. They're a platinum certified BRP dealer.

1330cc My 2014 RT is Over heating - any ideas on how to correct?

If this were a car, all indications would be a faulty, sticking thermostat. They do go bad occasionally. Not an expensive part to replace.

Advice needed for new communication system

Yep. Bought new helmets there and had the clerk install the Sena's right away. I can't say enough good things about the Albuquerque store. The staff there are great.

    Trailer Issue

A click on DropTail's "satisfaction guaranteed" button comes up 404. That's just sloppy. However, likely an accurate depiction of what one can expect of their services - especially coming on the heels of their complete repudiation of any liability whatsoever.

    What should I get?

If you wanna beat around town and bar hop - the Ryker will do nice. If you're looking for longer cruises the F3 might be more appropriate. But what do I know?...I'm riding an RTL...

Advice needed for new communication system

I can get 7-8 hours with a pair of fully charged Sena 20S EVO's. Bought them last year - very happy with them.

    What Jacket are you wearing?

This. Bilt Techno mesh jacket. It's ice in the morning and fire in the afternoon in central New Mexico. Mesh jackets are a must for summer here. Cycle Gear has some very good stuff under their Bilt brand.

    Riding boots

I've had these good old motorcycle boots for ever and the last 20 years. The back zipper makes them easy to get on and off. Keeps your feet warm and dry.

    Memorial Day Weekend

Will be going to Red River New Mexico tomorrow for the rally there. Also, a stop at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial State Park in Angel Fire to pay my respects to those who gave all. It's an annual tradition for bikers here in New Mexico - it's called the Enchanted Circle tour.

    Map Apps

Garmin seems to have quite a reputation as they've been around a long time. Genius Maps uses the same database as Garmin. Not willing to plunk down $500 plus for minor differences and the whole external mount thing.

    18 f3t front brake balance

Had canted pistons on different bike that I had done the brakes on. Didn't expect to see that.

BRP Connect - no audio through helmet

Way to go! Glad you got it sorted.

Seeking Advice From Spyder Ryding Snowbirds

The East mountains around Albuquerque where I live will give you about 11months of riding. If there's no snow on the ground, I'm riding. We don't get a lot of rain here either. Sunny almost all year long.
