• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Is F3 two-up riding or Solo ?

The frunk is not that spacious but it will hold a good size modular helmet there. Storage wise the SHAD side bags are the way to go. One of the reasons that made me choose the F3S over the F3T was the fact that the side cases of the T wheren't able to hold a full face helmet there. Each SHAD...

    Is F3 two-up riding or Solo ?

F3S here since about 6 months, 70% of the time riding two up, all trips above 250mi. The trike is totally capable for two up ride. Except of course the rear shock which is a joke. Not adjustable and very bouncy (the tire hits the wheel arch very often). I've swapped mine almost after getting...

New F3 with a lot of error codes

Happy to ear the problem was solved. As we say here, that might be an unit that was assembled on a Friday evening.

    South Portugal Route (EU)

It's the statue of (not an easy name) Abu Alcacim Amade ibne Huceine ibne Cassi. He was a sufist, political leader and king for a very short time of the Algarve Kingdom (nowadays the very South region of Portugal). It is said that he was of christian origins (because of the name Cassi which is...

    South Portugal Route (EU)

Here's a short video and some pictures of our latest trip the past month to the South region of Portugal (Europe). This a well know and historic mining area (pyrite). It has also historic moorish influences has the region was occupied until the XV century. The lovely white village by the river...

Sway Bar Install In So Cal

The ramps that I was looking at would give only 15 inches of lift (from the base of the wheels) so I won't get the job done with these. Will have to look for some another solution. Thank you for the reply!

    2018 F3S rear seat loose

Could it be this? https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?117562-Passenger-seat-not-fitting-properly-(MY2018) The MY2018 passenger seat seems to be adjusted very loose from factory.

    F3 Front Sprocket Inspection

Yep... I'll second that... Where all the fellows of the Old Continent can check their VIN number?

Sway Bar Install In So Cal

Have the sway bar but still haven't installed yet... I understand you need 22 inches of clearance to swap the bars, but if lifting the front by the wheels with ramps how high would the ramps needed to be?

    Best saddlebags for 2015 F3-S

The SHADS are very nice and the mounts are barely noticeable when you take them off. Being able to store a modular face helmet was one of the reason I opted for the F3S instead of the F3L (which won't any on the integrated side cases). That and the "bobberish" look of the rear end that I love...

    Power steering question

Ah... Might have to do with that then, which makes sense. Thanks guys!

    Power steering question

How does it work while idling? Because sometimes I feel it's there and other times not (F3S MY2018)... Might have to do with the type of floor... It's clearly assisted when I'm maneuvering on the garage (epoxy floor) and seems I can't move it while on tarmac.

Passenger seat not fitting properly (MY2018)

Yes, BRP technical support sent me to the dealer. Which should be the normal procedure, nothing strange there. Had already discussed this with the dealer which looked at it and said everything was in place and secured. I did "fixed" it myself after talking with another Spyder owner (see my...

Passenger seat not fitting properly (MY2018)

Well I finally found the fix... Actually it was not me a member of the Spyder french fb group who pointed me to the solution. Seems it's was a lack of factory adjustment of the locking "peg" (not sure if that's the correct name in english). Mine needed to go a little bit further so the seat...

Passenger seat not fitting properly (MY2018)

Spyder is not cheap at all, everyone would agree with that... But then again quite an exclusive and unique vehicle in it's kind and I guess this reflects in the price tag and that's what we are all paying for. I've previously own several japanese and european bikes and all had design flaws...

Passenger seat not fitting properly (MY2018)

I would encourage you to do so (and others who have noticed it). The more the reports, the easier it should be to track the issue and have a fix for this. Not sure but having the passenger switch right bellow, could be a security matter.
