• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High pitched whine at 45 mph

Not to discount the end results of your fix by using grease, but just an observation: The wheel bearing isn't meant to rotate on the axle/shaft. It rotates on itself. The inner race/ring is stationary, while the outer race/ring rotates around the ball or tapered bearings captured between the 2...

High pitched whine at 45 mph

I downloaded the Gates Carbon Drive app for the smart phone. It measures the Hz frequency of the belt when the belt is plucked like a guitar string. However, I can't find any reference for the Hz the F3 belt should read or a conversion table for other standards. Anyone out there use the app?

High pitched whine at 45 mph

I have a new 2019 F3 base model. When I start to approach 45 mph in any gear I start getting a high pitch whine that continues until I approach 50 mph. Since it's speed specific, I presume it's associated with the drive belt. I've had the whine since I bought the bike and thought it was just a...

    Handle bars too high

I recently installed a set of the short reach on mine. I lowered them to where they just cleared the view of the mirrors. Easy adjustment as AY4B mentioned.

    Towing

I appreciate the reply. My problem is that I have a Honda CRV that is only rated for 1500 lbs towing weight. I figured with a car dolly I could stay under that 1500 lbs limit. That said, I don't want to do anything to damage my bike.

    Brake linkage install problem.

The bolts are loaded with Lock-Tite. You need a 5mm hex head socket and wrench. A breaker bar would help. My wrench skipped a couple times when removing the bolts due to the Low-Tite.

HELP!!! 2019 F3 Loose negative battery terminal.

It appears someone added the pigtail for a battery tender or other auxiliary powered device. When I added the pigtail to my Ryker the bolt ended up being too short to reach the nut. I simply used a screwdriver to lift the nut in order for the bolt to reach it. I just added the pigtail to my new...

Put the parking brake on, turn off the key, remove the key. I don't think there is a way to disengage the parking brake without the key.

I’m 5”6 going to buy F3 Is stock F3 handlebar adjustable?

Installed the short reach handlebars today. Took less than 30 minutes and an easy install. The problem I was having was in order to avoid the mirrors being partially blocked by the handlebar controls, I had to rotate the bars down as far as they would go. Doing that caused the controls to bump...

1330cc What kind of average Fuel milage do you get?

I just checked my 2019 F3 Base model and I got 41 mpg on a 150 mile trip. I have 600 miles on it, so I'm hoping that might improve. I drive in Eco mode.
