• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We thought we had it licked..

Last fall I posted Carol's Spyder RTS for sale , only days later having her beg me not to sell it because she was positive she could beat the medical issues with her hands that were making it impossible for her to ride. So we let the winter pass, worked on solutions and we just tried to take a...

No guts No glory this year for sure

My 2 cents: Hoka Hey Rules: Motorcycles: This year's event will be open to riders of all Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Guts and Glory should have just not allowed Harleys to participate. Then there would be no issues. Regardless, Many riders of Yamahas , Suzukis and Spyders and Ducatis etc...

    Soft Oil Plug

No No No Mark , you are not following standard internet forum rules... you are supposed to lay blame on BRP , The Government and El Nino. One should Never Ever admit they are even partially at fault. Sigh, another one not playing by the rules...:roflblack:

    Cost of Oil Change

If you used your driveway and bought the parts and oil yourself , it would cost you over $ 75.00 before you even started taking a side panel off. The dealer is not getting rich at $ 200.00. Now , skip all the checks and adjustments it can be done for less. You get what you pay for. :chat:

FAULTY AIR RIDE SENSOR ON THE NEW 11 RTS!

Not to place blame anywhere , but there have been a lot of these delivered this way and found to be dealer setup error (you have to be very careful when uncrating and setting up not to bend or otherwise move the air ride suspension switch on the swingarm. If it is bent during prep, it will...

    Spyder RT is a finalist!

I love that the BMW K1600 is virtually tied with the Goldwing and Harley , and it isn't even produced yet, with a May release date and zero roadtests even published. This is not a spyder but is a game changing bike.

    More on the hybrid Spyder

The 600 cc ACE Motor develops 60 hp. Size will restrict the electric portion of this to have about 30 hp MAX , more realistic is 15 to 20. so we would be looking at best (when the ACE motor is coupled with the electric motor for full acceleration) of about 80 hp with torque somewhere close to...

Another company to make a reverse trike?

680cc V-Twin engine with 61 horsepower..... I rode one , it was a slug. Add the weight of a three wheel chassis and you'd have a reliable, pitifully slow reverse trike. :D

    Nikasil lined cylinders

The Rotax V990 uses Nikasil Plated cylinders in ALL applications. Here is a link to the Aprilia RSVR (They use our motor) shop manual where it specifically talks about the Nikasil Cylinders. Our version of the V990 differs minimally from this motor (pistons, gear ratios(no 6th gear , reverse...

    Last Ride of Season-

Works been crazy as usual but grabbed a hand full of throttle and took a ride today. Upon returning 15 minutes later due to mechanical issues (there was a HUGE odor of raw fuel on left hand turns from a stop) it left a quart of coolant in the driveway over the next 2 hours. Heck Its got 3000...

Sorry Scotty , I wasn't referring to your comment on the handling , that was for Canamm and his comment about cornering. I respect your opinions and understand where your coming from , but having been in the Auto business 25 years this week, If I fixed our cars on the lot first when a recall...
