• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Sheepskin Seat for RT

Received in my new sheepskin seat from Blacksheep Trading Co in Maine last week, and got it installed. I'll post some pictures later this afternoon. It looks great! Very comfortable. Haven't taken any long rydes yet, so the numb butt issue is yet to be determined. But I think it will be a...

    Air hawk seat ideas

I've found out with mine that it takes almost no air to make it work. Too much air causes discomfort, and zero air does nothing. Add just a little, and it's perfect. It really does help on longer rydes.

    Sheepskin for Passenger Backrest

I placed an order for the dual seat cover today. I opted out of the passenger back rest. I agree, other than aesthetics, it serves no purpose. ;) I'll post pictures when it arrives. Should be about 3 weeks. Thanks all!

    Sheepskin for Passenger Backrest

This is the one I'm looking at getting: http://www.blacksheeptrading.com/custmc.html Looking at the custom seat cover and custom passenger back rest. They say the back rest is wrap around style. There are really no pictures to look at for the Spyder. But the cutout is special for the Spyder seat.

    Sheepskin for Passenger Backrest

Have any of you with sheepskin covers get one for the passenger back rest? The one I'm looking at is a wrap-around style. Not sure what kind of Tupperware I'll need to remove in order to put it on and take it off. Just wondering if anyone has this style and what kind of trouble it is to...

Hard turning - not sure what a sway bar upgrade will fix??

What model Spyder do you have? That's what I felt when I first got my 2012 RT. I added the BajaRon sway bar, and it made a world of difference around the curves. I also recently did the laser alignment, and that helped a ton as well.

Spyderpops Radiator Blockoff Plate - I Have Concerns

OK, so removing the lower panel gives the same result as installing the block-off plate? Just curious if this is true. How much better does the block-off plate divert the heat?

    Full sheepskin seat cover

Really appreciate the write-up Jack. I've been on the fence with these for a while now. I'm looking to add just a little more comfort to my new Airhawk R, which has already helped a lot. I was just concerned on if I would burn up or not. I have a trip to Pittsburgh planned for mid-July, and a...

    Highway pegs seem uncomfortable

Rich, I have done the exact same simulation. And I get the same aches. Still on the fence about getting some pegs. My only relief seems to be when the wife starts driving and I sit in the passenger seat. I get to extend my legs then. Curious to see how everyone else feels about the pegs.

Question for Those of You that have the Escape Aluminum Trailers

I'm trying to find a way to mount the spare tire with rim underneath the trailer. There is not room on the tongue, so I need to mount it underneath. Has anyone done this, and what kind of mount did you use? I'm thinking about a using couple of long u-bolts and mount them to the underneath...

just venting...day from hell at a dealership

I would have said "No Thank you" when they asked for money up front for the CB. You shouldn't pay until the job is complete. Good luck in finding another dealer.
