• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 rear fender swap out

I was going to go out and snap a pic for you but I see Mike Ard has you covered. The fender as pictured is the way it comes from BRP. Not sure why they decided not to produce the painted version. It's metal and should be easily painted any color you desire.

    F3 rear fender swap out

Not bad at all. There's some minor assembly required and then removal of the old fender and wire harness. The chopped fender is held on with only 3 screws and is stable. I found the instructions to be sufficient.

Beautiful country up there. I went to Columbia Jr. college for a time and lived up near the top of Big Hill Road in Sonora. My Parents were also Docents at the Columbia State Historic Park.

    Something wrong with this picture?

It's the camera angle Looks pretty close at just the right angle but the wheels still need to be swapped side to side. Look at the tread pattern in this pic which is correct.

    Auxiliary Lights Won't Fit ?

This is a simple job if you have the right tool. 3/8" OR 10mm deep socket I believe.

    Something wrong with this picture?

It's the steering geometry you're seeing combined with the angle at which the photo was taken. You can read up about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steering The wheels/tires are mounted on the wrong sides and need to be swapped.

    Switched from 2012 RSS SE5 to 2015 F3S SE6

I've found that the best shifting RPM's for me is 2500 for 1st to 2nd and then 3000 to 3500 for all gears above 2nd. 1st to 2nd is a little bit harsh above 2500, for me at least.

    Invisible?

Traffic light sensors don't operate by sensing the weight of the vehicle. Inductive-loop traffic detectors sense any conductive metal. I found a good article which explains how they work and how to trigger them if you're on a 2 wheel or less noticeable vehicle...

    Horn

Mine worked as intended the other day when someone tried to turn out in front of me in the Costco parking lot. Stopped her dead in her tracks. She gave me the stink eye and I just smiled as I rode by.

    Horn

I used the relay. In my opinion, the added amperage will eventually damage the horn switch. Unfortunately, the location I decided to mount it in is the same location as the signature light relay. I didn't want to go through the trouble of re-wiring in order to relocate the horn relay so I...

While the BRP cover is pricey, it fits like a glove. It's totally worth the price IMHO. I have the half cover and am very happy with it.

You might be waiting for a long time for that to happen and life is just too short to worry about such things. I shipped mine here from Pitbull Powersports.
