• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How would you rate your Spyder Dealer?

Just don't ask them to put a "car tire" on your Spyder ! The prior service manager said "no problem" and did it for me a few years back. The "new" service staff said NO !! Period !! Took my business elsewhere since then.

Everybody wants to get into the trike game

Looks like no storage capacity anywhere. If so, I would think no competition for Spyders. Ryker maybe. :dontknow:

Fuel (GAS) price where you live

Around Olympia, Wa I see anywhere from $3.79 to $4.09 per gal. for regular. Up Avg of 30 cents or more for high test, on top of highest regular price. Doesn't seem to be "brand related either, more "location" related. Looked up a published listing of "who" sells top tier gas in washington...

    DECEMBER 7th 1941 - Pearl Harbor

Reflecting on the "small" amount of coverage on TV now days about past military campaigns our country has survived, I thought again about my dad, and part of his WW2 experience related to Pearl Harbor. I remember he had picture albums of his time on ships and, as a kid, many were not easy to...

Air bag issue - anyone gone full manual? Info/instructions?

Hmmmm......given that we always ride 2 up (at or "close to" the Spyder spec limit for weight):yikes::roflblack: any pressure less than 70 produces a "mushy" feeling - and sometimes a bottoming out event over some bumps:gaah::gaah: 70 doesn't create a problem for us at all.:yes: PS: I too...

Air bag issue - anyone gone full manual? Info/instructions?

I usually fill ours to 70/75 lbs and it lasts "a long long time" (weeks, maybe months) without needing a refill. I'm curious about what others say needs to be done here.:dontknow: As I recall (?)......all I did when my 2nd compressor failed and I gave up on BRP and my extended warranty...

My Quatrac 5 mileage to date

My bad, Mike.:banghead: I just checked my paperwork and the tire is called just QUATRAC.:dontknow: I looked at my paperwork and their site and indeed QUATRAC is the only one there, so I "assumed" that was it. The ad says "new" and the ratings are "high". Guess we'll see how it goes. :opps::opps:

My Quatrac 5 mileage to date

Miles on Vredestein tire on 2014 RTL Just reporting my experience. FYI - The Kenda rear tire that came new on the Spyder, only lasted 12,000 miles. The replacement Kenda I then put on: only lasted 14,000 miles. After a lot of info gathering (thanks to BK911), I then replaced the rear with a...

Dealer changed service staff - now refuses to install ANY auto tire on a Spyder.

Another dealer with negative input on tire install Just had another dealer out here tell me that BRP WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO PUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE BRP PROVIDED TIRES ON A SPYDER ! HE SAID THIS IS VERY CLEAR IN THEIR AGREEMENT AND THEY COULD LOSE THEIR BUSINESS . End of story.
