• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Another newbie here

Congrats and welcome to the insanity that is Spyder ownership. Nice that you had a long trip to get the feel of the Spyder. I am a displaced Bluenoser and have it on my Bucket list to ryde back for a family visit. Enjoy the Spyder and be prepared for the extra time it takes to fuel up as it...

The best ryde of the year.

You know what they say, even a rainy ryde is better than a day at work. Well I had to ryde to work in the rain so I am looking forward again to some sunshine on my days off. Maybe the fire ban will be lifted and can get a good picnic in.

    May 24'th Weekend

Managed to skirt the forcasted rain and took an enjoyable ryde to Mayerthorpe to visit the Fallen Four Memorial. Just a few changes since the last time, and just like every other visit it evokes a response from the soul. I will try to put a couple of photos up when I get hold of the camera...

    Long Weekend

Great ryde today Well we managed to skirt the showers by modifying the route from Camrose and chose Mayerthorpe instead. Pretty light traffic for a holiday Sunday and not a lot of Police presense on our route. The Fallen Four Memorial looked like it had just opened up for the season. They...

    Different Take on Zumo Mount

Whatever works for your situation is the way to do it. I still don't have the GPS off of RSV yet, so when I get around to that it may appear on the Spyder. Until then I'll just point it down a road and see what is there

    Fuel Mileage/ Fuel Tank Size

Yeah the fuel economy is not the best, but the ryding and smiles make up for that. I get about 220 kms per tank, mix of city and hiway. Follow the suggestion provided on this forum and you can't go wrong.

    Hot foot problem

I have the solution, move to Alberta where it is seldom hot enough for this heat funneling to be an issue. today was a 20 degree Celsius day, my favourite temp for riding as you will still wear a jacket and long pants and boots. Oh yeah, as it is motorcycle awareness month, we also have to do...

Another great day with the Baja Ron Bar

Went out to our favourite trike dealer, The Trike Zone out in Mulhurst. Decided to take the QE II to get some real speeds. Love that bar!!!!. Set the cruise to 125 (k/ph) and just go with 2 fingers on the grip, too easy. This bar should be standard equipment.
