• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My light came on the other day and I went about 15 miles and was able to put 6.3 gallons in it. My wife was not happy with me at all. :roflblack:

Newbie Riding The Ozarks to The Big Easy

The Pig Trail is a very nice ride Welcome aboard. I live near Beaver Dam about eight miles or so west of Eureka Springs and maybe 70 miles from Joplin. It is a beautiful ride from Eureka Springs down Highway 23 south on the Pig Trail to Ozark, Arkansas.

    antenna problem

Stories like this sure make BRP look bad and could sway folks to look at the competition rather than go with a Spyder. Yet, BRP expects us to advertise for them.:cus::gaah: If I had a franchise selling these machines I would have taken care of the problem and the customer would have never...

    Blah...blah...blah

We have 4,200 miles on our 2011 RT Limited and have gotten a low of 22mpg and yesterday I finally got a high of 36mpg. The lowest figures were towing the RT-622 trailer into strong winds and riding two up at 75mph. The 36mpg was two up but at 55mph. I hope it settles in at the higher mpg. We...

    Goodbye 2009 RS SE5, Hello 2011 RT-S

Good luck with that new machine. We have had our 2011 RTS SE5 Limited since the end of April and have around 4,200 miles on it without a single issue. Made one 1,800 mile trip in 100+ weather and another 300 mile in 100+ weather running interstate speeds of 75 & 80mph with 1,800 of those miles...

How many 2 or more spyders in the family

Only the 2011 RTS SE-5 Limited and trailer right now. We have put a bit over 4,000 miles on it since the end of April. The new 2012 Limited is sure looking very inviting right now. The wife got her safety course and MC endorsement last week. So, I expect there will be a second Spyder in the...

    Week before Sturgis?

I would dearly love to go, but it doesn't look like we can do it this year. I would probably stay in Rapid City, but their room rates are outrageous, too.

    Safety Card Warning

Okay, I understand the lawyers have litigated us into this stuff, but having to wait for the computer to put that stupid screen up every time I switch the Spyder on and then depress the Mode switch in order to start it is ridiculous.:gaah: Sometimes when I stop for fuel and restart it does not...

    Corbin Seat/Backrest/Armrest question(s)

I do not have the driver's back rest, but have the passenger arm rests for the wife. We both agree that the Corbin upgrades were the best comfort upgrades we could make. Just need floorboards now.

    iPod for a RT-S

Freebob, I suspect you are correct. I have a friend that has 1,300 CDs. Yes, 1,300 CDs downloaded onto his iPod.:yikes: Don't ask me how he got so many, but he is a musician in the evenings and a lawyer during the daytime.

    iPod for a RT-S

I ordered our new iPod on Tuesday evening and it arrived via UPS this afternoon.:2thumbs: I've got it attached to the laptop right now charging up. It's already synced up with my iTunes and have already dumped 1,257 songs into it. With the iPod I do not need XM radio and can load 160GB of...

    iPod for a RT-S

UPS should deliver my new 160GB iPOD Classic tomorrow. I've got a bit over a thousand songs downloaded to my computer. I have to figure out how to put playlists together. We used the wife's ipod on the San Antonio trip and I grew to like it.

    Watchout for deer

When I was stationed in Newfoundland back in the early/mid 70s an RCMP Mountie related a story of an accident he worked on the TCH where a fellow broadsided a moose at a very high rate of speed late one night. Both the rider and moose ended up being difficult to figure out which was which. He...
