• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A big thanks to you Ken for the link. I think these are just what I want.:yes::yes:

Stolen deflectors off ST-L side saddlebags...

Johnny...that looks exactly like what I am looking for. They look to fit in the same oval cutout on the saddlebag too. I am assuming they are battery powered...how long do the batteries last? I will search for those (or similar) lights. Thanks for the tip!!! Any chance you remember the...

Stolen deflectors off ST-L side saddlebags...

Well...it looks like the consensus is that they were there when I parked at the elementary school to pick up my son, then they just both fell off (nevermind that they were nowhere to be seen on the ground by the parked bike) by the time I returned with him in tow. Okay...i guess it's like when...

Need help from a CA spider owner

WOW...just read your posting experience on getting your bike Ca registered. It pretty much mirrors mine. To boot...the last digit was not legible, so I really had a problem then!!! the original DMV gal certifying my bike passed me off to a very young 20something guy who was up to take a lunch...

Need help from a CA spider owner

It was the Spyder that my scenario dealt with...nothing else. If you reread my post it stated "I registered my Spyder (Which was purchased out of Missouri and shipped to Cali) at DMV and knew nothing about the CARB limitations..." This is not an attempt to flame someone...just to limit the...

Need help from a CA spider owner

Assuming it was THEM who was wrong, that is...This is from the DMV link you posted: "A nonresident vehicle was last registered outside the state of California. Anyone who brings a vehicle into California, or purchases a nonresident vehicle while in California, should be aware of the...

Need help from a CA spider owner

I registered my Spyder (Which was purchased out of Missouri and shipped to Cali) at DMV and kneww nothing about the CARB limitations. 3 different DMV employees told me that I was lucky the Spyder had over 7.500 miles...otherwise I wouldn't have been able to register it. They also had me pull all...

Stolen deflectors off ST-L side saddlebags...

Yesterday, I noticed both deflectors on the side of the saddlebags on my girlfriend's ST-L were gone. They were there the day before, as I walk each bike (as well as our cars) daily looking for dents, dings, chips, etc. Call me crazy, but it's a habit that served me well over the years...

    2015 RS, RSS, ST Spyder

I pulled the plug and bought our '13 ST-L at full price of 24k:yikes: That, along with the new Honda Accord means i'm through until one of them is paid off. Don't get me wrong, i'd LOVE a 2015 ST/RSS with the inline 1330...but being financially responsible prohibits me from doing so. Although...

    Group Riding Courtesy

:agree: The only thing I would add is for each ryder to be responsible for the person directly behind. If you take a turn & the person behind does not see (maybe too far back, etc.)...stop and wait at the intersection/junction point until they have line-of-sight. This saves on the whole group...

    The Ultimate Spyder Ryder Adventure...

Wow...A Spyder in Hawaii sounds like sheer heaven. Although I like speed, i think a place like that would lend itself to a leisurely pace. Added bonus...it's an island, so if u keep going straight you're boundto end up where ustarted!!!

    The Ultimate Spyder Ryder Adventure...

While reading BRP's new Magazine (WOW) I ran across what appears to be the ultimate Spyder adventure. Problem is, that it is the annual Spyder Grossglockner Challenge in Austria...but before you let that discourage you, listen to the description: "The 48 kilometers of panoramic road, involving...

Spyder Makes it on TV Show" Boys Toys"...

I agree... I agree...wasn't real sure why they didn't even mention the other model lines. Well, since it was shot on 2012, that would explain not mentioning the ST, but you still had the RS & RSS in addition to the RT back then.

Spyder Makes it on TV Show" Boys Toys"...

One of the shows I like to watch is Boys Toys, as it shows the high priced ultra exclusive toys (Cars, boats, planes etc.) we'd all love to play with. Since I am relegated to taping episodes on the DVR, I was watching a few episodes when I ran across one that featured a segment on the Spyder RT...

    newbie with some questions.......

Michael...I got the history on the bike that had been worked on at Cowtown in Missouri...and it was my local dealer in CA that pulled the info. To clarify...I am referring to all the recall/safety/warranty/service records. In fact, there are 2 dealers within a 30 mile radius and BOTH of them...

Terrible mileage on my 214 RTS

I don't mean to hijack this thread OR divert it from it's original topic of average MPG on 2014's, but I have to say that I am impressed with the speed at which a BRP representative stepped in. Not that it's any of my business, but i'd love to know what the conversation between the OP and BRP...
