• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    The somewhat jiggly seat is pretty much the norm on the F3 models. I'm on my 3rd one (F3 base, F3 Daytona, F3-T), and they all do that. No real change of losing it.

    That pin height is adjustable. Loosen the jamb nut and turn the pin in a little and tighten the nut. It will hold the seat tighter. If it gets tough to release, push down on the seat while turning the key.

    Your F3-T has the air bag rear suspension. You can put as much as 70 pounds of air in the bag. I'm a heavy-weight and my wife is not a light-weight. 65# of air works great for us. You really shouldn't need to do anything with the shock.

    Weird, when I posted my response in post #2 the picture of your '19 wasn't there, just the picture of your '15. I still think I'd change it if your going a lot over 3000 miles on your Spyder on your trip.

    I'd definitely change oil. You don't say what year your F3 is, but from the picture it looks like a 2015. That oil has been in there a long time. Age of oil can be just as detrimental to the engine as miles.

    Not an option on the RT. The floor board doesn't move, so the brake pedal can't be moved. I see a big opportunity for the after market!

    I want a manual! I found a used F3-T with a manual this fall and I scooped it up. Last of the T's with a manual. I had a Daytona with a manual, but we ride a lot of 2-up and I wanted the air suspension. Don't know what I'll do when it's time for a change... probably no more Spyder for me.

    Up north from WV, yes, but central MN near St. Cloud. I've driven 113 with my Spyder, my Cobra, and the truck with a snowmobile trailer. Great fun with the Cobra and the Spyder. Not so much fun when snow covered with the truck and the trailer!

    Will, If your going over to Itasca State Park, make sure you ride Cty Rd 113 that starts on the south side of Itasca at Hwy 71 and heads west. It is one of my favorite roads in Minnesota. You won't regret it!
