• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I meeting something here about the oil

Yes, and the point I'm trying to make is you also made a mistake saying "It can be check when the engine is cold. It is clearly low on oil!" We won't know if he's low on oil until the correct procedure has been followed!

Am I meeting something here about the oil

@ Leland - For your information, the correct procedure for checking the oil in a snowmobile with the Ace 600 or 900 engine is also with the engine warmed up and than let it idle for 30 seconds!

Am I meeting something here about the oil

Not according to the manual! Check after running the engine!

Am I meeting something here about the oil

That procedure is for the 1330 - F3's & RT's. Sarge707 has posted the correct method for the Ryker. Min and Max are defiantly backwards in the manual!

Ryker front tires size is Proprietary! Thanks again BRP........

Those tires are 30mm wider than the stock tires. Do you think they will fit in the fenders?

Windshield. F4 or Madstad? Vent or not?

I tried the California Scientific windshield for my F3 and my experience was not great. The website data sold me too. I talk to them on the phone to order and I was still sold. However, when received the shield I was very disappointed in the cheap plastic mounting brackets (yes, they look...

    Sway Bar

IF we get one, we'll drive it first and determine if it needs one! See does look good on one though!

    Ryker floorboards

Thanks for describing the mounting process and confirming my adjustment concerns. I really like the look and idea of your boards, but we're looking at purchasing a Ryker for my wife that I would also drive occasionally. I'm 6'4" and she's 5'4", so the quick adjustment is a big plus for us. Can...

    Ryker floorboards

Lamont, thanks for your latest update and pictures. These pictures reaffirm my question. How can you take advantage of the adjustment of the board fore and aft, and rotation of the brake pedal for height? Do you need to remove the board temporarily, flip up the clamp and adjust the mount fore...

    Ryker floorboards

I look forward to seeing a video of the adjustments with your boards installed!;)

    Ryker floorboards

I'm familiar with how the adjustment works with the stock pegs. My question was, with your boards, it doesn't look like you can lift board high enough because it looks like it will hit the brake pedal, not allowing it to be loose enough to move. Also, it looks like you can't pull the brake...

    Ryker floorboards

They do look good! The question I have is do you still have the tool-less adjustability of board forward and back, and also brake pedal height? In the pictures it looks like the pedal and board will interfere with each other, not allowing adjustment.

Congrats Ken, from one Minnesotan to another! That's prrrrrretty!

    Handlebar rotation

Nobody can make fun of you, because most of us have done all those things to our F3's and Rt's to make them more comfortable! This is no different. Way to go CTAC! Ignore the naysayers that say the Ryker can't be used for long distance touring.

    YellaCat is home; almost

Glad to see your trying different adjustments on your Rally to optimize your ride. Many people just leave it the way it came from dealer and never realize it could be better. Your adjustment knob on the rear of your Rally is for compression not rebound. That being said, softening it to...

Congrats on your new Ryker Rally! That looks pretty much exactly like how we to want equip one for my wife, including color, windshield, and top case. Keep us updated on your riding impressions.

    Off-roading

So I'm pretty sure that drive line noise is because the Ryker has reverse. The helix in the secondary clutch is cut differently because of reverse. Your Burgman didn't have reverse. The snowmobiles with reverse do the same thing.
