• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Air filters, cvt belt prices

Thanks for help guys, I bookmarked the filter, a price I can live with and will buy several. I think 12,000 is a little soon for a belt also but would like one one hand. I pit a lot of miles on my Ryker, I hardly drive my car anymore except to by groceries.

    Air filters, cvt belt prices

By the end of the summer I will probably have enough miles on my Acer 900 to replace the filters and belt. I have been pricing the filters and not the belt yet. The filters I have seen are priced very high in my opinion. Anyone find any good deals on them? I have not got a belt size yet to look...

    Wheel Nut Socket

Thanks for the info, I going to buy a socket and 3/4 torque wrench, not only for possibly flats but tires should be rotated for best wear. I like having the right tools for the job.

    600 vs 900 newbie

I went with the 900 not because of engine size but because of abs brakes. If I am correct and you might want to double check the 600 does not have vss and abs brakes. At least that was in the specs when I bought mine.

    200 mile review

If you have as much fun as I have on mine it is worth every penny. Got mine feb 8 and have put 4,600 mikes on it.Be safe and have fun with your new toy. Almost forgot, it is a head tuner which I could live without. I ride guys that have Harleys and people walk up to mine to say how cool it is...

Question for the suspension gurus out there

It takes a little time to get used to it. After 4,000 miles I have no problems keeping up with a group on winding roads. If I was any more relaxed I would fall off. But it did takes a couple of weeks to get used to it vs 2 wheels. Find some low speed, low traffic roads and ride a lot. And have fun!

    Ryker assembly video

That is more than I would have guessed, but also it is more easy to install new without taking old parts out first. I think that would be FUN.

    Inspection vs service

I have enough tools to so most jobs, but there seem to always be something you don't have. I have 2 torque wrenched, neither will work .I still think buying the right tool is still less expensive than paying someone $100 an hour or more. Plus I like working on my own cars and stuff. I have seen...

    Riding Position Poll

    First ride failure

I am also sorry to hear about your issue. While it shouldn't happened there are gremlins that have there way on occasion. Hope any bad is past and only fun in the future. That reminds of a issue I had with my new 2008 pt cruiser. a stuck relay and it would not start. But it never happened again...

    Inspection vs service

Please understand I am not trying to tell anyone how to service there machine, my feelings are updates, error codes if any (they should show up on the little dash) are the responsibility of Can Am warranty. Why pay out of pocket when there is a warranty. They do not say to change the oil at...

    Inspection vs service

In hitting 3,000 miles today I re-read the manual for 1st oil change, It says at 3,000 the Ryker should be inspected. This is not the same as a service to me. To me it mean check all fluid levels, filters, tire wear etc to check for problems. I don't believe it is necessary for warranty. It also...

    Ryker Ryde

I bought mine feb 8 and will pass 3,000 miles today. I have no problems spending the whole day riding it. It would be nice to have a little more storage, but I find it quite comfortable. It feels a little like sitting "in" vs sitting "on" a motorcycle. I also have back and knee issues, as many...

Radio and 12 volt power supply

Mine has one large harness, the smaller must be in the single harness. Also I could not find the connector, I did not want to pull to hard on it. But right now I am just trying to decide the install. I will get my meter out when I figure what looks the best. Thanks

What would you change on the Ryker?

Better gas mileage and a windshield that is not a toy. A simple aux. 12 volt connection. Oil filter instead of cartridge type. Lug nuts instead on of 1 65 mm nut. Overall I think the Ryker is a good machine and a good value, but that does not mean it can't be improved.

Radio and 12 volt power supply

Actually mine does not have the wire shown in the video, I have not pulled the glove box to check the voltage yet but the amp will run 10 -16 volts so I should be ok. I wish they had put a aux wire like my Kawasaki had, it would have made it simple.

Radio and 12 volt power supply

I have tried ear buds, while going 55 mph they have to be very loud to cover the engine sound. I bought a set of go hawk speakers and amp. If it ever stops raining and gets warner I will install the set. I got 4 inch speakers to get better sound, there not bad. Also has fm radio. I believe any...

    First group ride Great fun

Today I went on a 5 hour run on the coast with a group called Abate, I think they're nation-wide. I was a little concerned about then looking down on my Ryker but no such issues. Most a bunch of older guys like my-self. A poker ride they called it. There was a support truck which was not needed...
