• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Agreed- todays gps’s have options to route a trip with “curvy” secondary roads making your trip a little bit longer but much more interesting. If you like to plan trips then ride software/gps like REVER do a great job.

    Lousy dealer service on the latest recall

    Never saw a Ryker wheel nut off the bike before- it looks structurally inadequate to be the singular barrier to keeping a wheel from coming off. Makes you wonder why they moved away from using multiple wheel nuts to secure the wheel.

    Just leather gloves are best when using heated grips - no thick liners. Beyond that I go to my Joe Rocket heated gloves which have never let me down. They were $200 6 years ago and still going strong. Battery powered heated gear has come along way; I don’t think I would have hard wired heated...

    If your at the point off all the panels off and valve covers off; might as well perform the appropriate inspection/tuning for the miles you have. At least then you have a baseline of where the condition of your bike stands.

    Looks like they experienced a good quarter - profits up in the 3rd qtr 39% selling 8% fewer bikes than same qtr a year ago. Probably a short term sugar high. Any platform that promotes social distancing is selling like crazy (bicycles, motorcycles etc.) Dropped my Spyder at the dealer last week...

    +1 for Frog Togs- very breathable and extremely light BUT very fragile if near the vicinity of high temp parts.
