• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Removing Body Panels

You are already past the hard part, for me getting the damn mirrors of was the hardest part my fist time. As far as getting the panel off, it seems there is usually some screw or pushpin hiding on u somewhere.

    Slingshot sighting

Oh I'm a good 300 miles south of Roseau. I think they still make the snowmobiles and atv's up there. I'm only guessing but I bet the Slingshot comes out of the atv factory and not the motorcycle factory. I might go ride one in the near future, but I'm quite sure I would never buy one.

    Slingshot sighting

I saw a Slingshot on the road today. I live near the worlds biggest Polaris dealership. Maybe it was a demo ride, or maybe they are being shipped to new owners now.

    14k service cost

I just has my 14,000 mile service done. It was under $400. This included an oil change , wiring up a GPS , replacing some missing push pins, replacing a broken clip behind the mirror. There was a couple other minor things covered under warranty. I asked him about checking the valve adjustment...

Is there any internal combustion engine powered machine out there with a more complicated procedure to do such a normally simple task as checking the engine oil level?

Central MN Spyder riders, 1st meeting

I'll try to make it too. I live a few miles south of Coldspring. Thanks for moving forward with this, it would be great to see a group get together from the St. Cloud area. Butch and Paula have a nice thing going and I always thought about going on one of their rides, but for me it's a trip in...

    GPS Recommendations

I have to agree. I've tried automotive quality gps's over the years on motorcycles and boats and it is extremely difficult to see anything in bright sunlight. It seems the sun heats the screen up and sometimes cause's it to turn black. My iphone is the same in bright sunlight after a short...

just venting...day from hell at a dealership

I'm constantly amazed at the number of sub-par Cam am dealers out there. I'm one of the lucky ones with an awesome dealer about 60 miles away, but I do drive past another Cam am dealer on the way to this one.

    NEED ADVICE ON A 2012 RT-S SE5

I have 10,000 trouble free miles on my 2012 RTS-SE5. Oil changes, a rear tire , and gas is all I have in it for expenses. I bought mine new at the end of the season for a little less than $19,800.

Trying to break the harley addiction

I've been a Harley guy since 1998. My last one is a 2005 Ultra, that I still own. I bought a new 2012 RTS-SE5. The first year of riding was maybe 90% Spyder and 10% Harley. Last year was 99% Spyder and 1% Harley just because I figured I should run it around the block now and then. I'll sell the...

    I can't help myself

I hope someday somewhere there will be a road racing circuit for Spyder's. You know there has to be away to disable or bypass the nannie for" off road use only". It just wouldn't be racing without the ability to break the rear tire loose or lift a front tire. I know they would never keep up...

    Best Floorboards?

Well they are the same height as the original foot pegs, but they are strong enough to put your feet up on top where they bend up in the front, much like a highway peg if you want to stretch out.
