• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I wish I was riding...

Much like pegasus1300 in the Western Slope region of Colorado we are right on the verge of the January thaw. I also live in a canyon (at the bottom). The southern wall of the canyon makes a solid shadow for 6 weeks. You have no idea how frustrating it can be living in a shadow for 6 weeks...

Two eBay fails - Hand Brake and Kruzer Kaddy

The brake kit was incomplete, and I had to send it back, it was missing the main frame that the PO accidentally left on their machine on trade in, but without a mount, I cannot use the ISCI kit, you are paying for the machining of that bracket, but the brake parts like the cylinder, the...

Installation Frenzy - Wheels, Tires, Lights, Etc.

Nice work indeed. I did the same thing with mine in November, went a little OCD on my trike. I still have three or four things to finish (yea right), but I really like the trike now. My wife and I are so happy to have something she can ride with me on. She is also an MC rider so its...

    Salty Roads

A good wash once a week if you are winter riding so remove your brines and salts will suffice, just be sure to do extensive rust inspections each spring and clean up any little "cancer" bits that start, you will be okay. I know one rider that Flex sealed his bottom side as he rides year round...

@ JueJue97, I am retired IT, and owned a cycle repair shop as well. Just picked up bike number 4 today, getting ready for a big event in Denver, I like to have three or four good used bikes on hand for the swap meet, good way to start the year. At any rate, I am around all the time, and happy...

    Problem with Plasti Dip

Your shop conditions need to be ideal for one, 72 degrees at least, no dust, no humidity....then, you need to let the clears cure for 24 hours and let them set up, I have had horrible wet coats turn out fine just waiting them out with the dip. And when curing, crank the heat in the shop, it...

Winter Itch has Set In Big Time

@ Pegasus1300, I am also going to Vernal for the Ryker review. We are in the mid 40's today. I live at the bottom of a MASSIVE Canyon Structure. For instance, I get 50 plus miles of Grand Canyon (bottom of the canyon along the river) riding, it leads into the Gateway CO, and Moab area if you...

So waiting for the cold snap to snap. Even here in Southern Colorado, we are in the grips of our winter chill. It really will only be two more weeks til I can ride long distances. I still take the Can Am out on my errands and make sure she is good and warmed up. I managed to get all of my...
