• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Close call!

I think it was in the Eastern Hemisphere/Oriental World that even bikes as small as mopeds are overloaded with several adults, children and pets. Hard to tell by camera angle, but the plates don't look USA Sized.

I use to have a 2008 GS SE5, bought new and ran with Until Jan 2020. needed a lot of brake and Trans work, not worth putting in thousands and waiting forever for replacement parts that don't exist any more. Saw a slightly used 2020 RT LTD Chrome, under 8k miles. Since Feb 1, the weather has...

    Styupid laws in Spain

When Home ported in Yokosuka (South of Tokyo) Japan back in 73-76, the speed limit was low also. Japanese are rarely ticketed as they would lose "face", unless they cause an accident. However, it was open season on American Sailors and Marines. Japanese police would refer any "misconduct" off...

I ride staggered with Friends or small groups of Patriot Guard. I gave up on Legion/VFW rides...no disrespect, but they want to stop every 45 min at a Post to drink for an hour. Oops …. Where does this go?

I like the cardboard. Another way is a plastic ice cube tray. For each panel, I put the bolts/push pins in the tray, left to right. Then when reinstalling, I go right to left

    Well....it broke.

disconnecting battery leads and touching them for 30 sec, drains charges in capacitors, lets your system start fresh. Thought: you might disassemble the mod and see if no codes. Then re-inset the mod. A "rebooting" exercise? Most dealers don't like working on bike with non-factory mods

I had a 2008 SE5 GS, bought new in spring 2009. After 13 yrs, she developed transmission and Brake issues. Many parts especially plastic and rubber had cracked and leaking brake fluid. Had it in to my dealer of last 30 yrs and told me a repair figure twice the book value. Additionally, parts...

Android Bluetooth connection issues '20 RT - any ideas?

Bought slightly used 2020 RT LTD in Feb. Riding days have been few, so focused on getting a trailer hitch put on to carry my wheelchair. Today, my blue tooth connection wasn't working so I re-paired up my Android phone. When I first set it up weeks ago, it set up without the 6 number code the...

    Oil change gone sideways

On my (former) 2008 SE5 GS, I did the same thing using one of those Prestone antifreeze testers with the big bulb. About a 4" tube. Tried fishing it out with no luck. Told by shop not to worry about it. Ran well for 5 years until I traded her in.

What does it take to Remove the Dealer Decals on my F3?

found a small bottle of Goo Gone with a small plastic "shoe horned" shaped "scrapper at Walmart. Put on 1 coat of goo and 2 of 4 came off. Put another coat on the last 2 stubborn decals and all came off, didn't damage the paint at all.

    I finally pulled the trigger!!

On Feb 1, I replaced my 14 yr old 2008 GS SE5 with a 7945 mile used 2020 RT LTD Chrome. Also in Asphalt Grey, which looks dark green to me. Been locked up in the garage except for about 5 days of reasonable weather here in NW Ohio. After much experimentation, I think I can use the BRP GO...
