• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've got some new information about this bike. My sources can't be reveled but I trust what I'm hearing. Let's back up a little: Other than the invoice, the ONLY problem I've had with this byke is that it turns off on my sometimes (4 times now). The first two times, I thought maybe I...

Desert Spyder, The belt was damaged, I noticed it shortly after I purchased the Spyder while I was washing it. The front brake had over 50% life so it wasn't replaced...just the rear brakes. As far as posting the break-down of the charges...I'll do you one better. Below is the actual...

I spoke with Mr. Larry at length while I was there (for almost 7 hours). He went to SpyderFest last year. He has that white Spyder RT Limited out front....beautiful ryde. When I was arguing with the manager and Justin, he actually walked back up and said "I don't know about this...

New farkles added to bike today.

Hi Shawn, Chupaca is correct. It's a kit that actuates the foot brake. When you depress the hand brake, you can see the foot brake going down too. Great for us lazy people that don't want to take their feet off the highway pegs! :)

What Do You Use for Cleaning, and How Do You Go About It?

A "self-oil changing" option would have been nice too! I use Simoniz spray and wash for a quick clean and the ole bucket and sponge with care wash soap for a more thorough clean. Quick tip: if you can't get those pesky bugs off your Spyder or the grill of your car/truck/SUV/tank/space...

Thanks Guys! This dealership just won some sort of "Best in Class Cam-Am Dealership" award. I think I may write an email to BRP....lol. Incidentally, I copied the first post here and put it on Hattiesburg Cycles Facebook page. In 5 minutes, it got 5 "likes" and then was removed. I ain't...

Showie, I hear what you're saying. Again, the service department was great. They even backed up my story about the tire, since it was only a month ago and he remembers seeing it. But the manager still wouldn't budge. I them know that I have more money than time...I'm the guy who will buy a...

The service department said it was "slacked" and allowed a rock (or some other debris) to puncture a hole in it. I actually noticed the hole last week and that was another reason I wanted to bring it in.

Nothing's "wrong"'with the electronic one... But I like the feel of a hand brake. Chrome is just a personal preference. I don't mind cleaning it.

I really wish my first service experience with the Spyder would have been better. About a month ago, I bought a secondhand 2010 Spyder RT-S from Hattisburg cycles. Before purchasing, I inquired about this units service schedule. I was assured from Justin (the salesman) that the bike had all...

Yeah...I saw that too... But I'm already here. Thanks!

    Tire change

Yeah...but the tire was pretty worn when I got it so I knew what was getting into. The belt had slacked and a rock got caught between the sprocket and the belt, tearing a chunk out of the center of the belt. The yearly device alone is $250.00 (includes the oil/tranny fluids changed). I...

    Tire change

Funny this is posted. I'm at Hattisburg Cycle (MS) right now....waiting in their lobby and getting my rear tire changed, new belt, oil/transmission change and a one year service. Total will be about 4 hours and $1000.

Spyder Lovers Mandeville, LA - Let's ride!

I live in Picayune, MS. In fact, I'm writing this at Hattiesburg Cycles, waiting on my back tire to be replaced. After this, I'm pretty slammed this weekend but would like to meet a few other fellow Spyder owners.

New Spyder RT-S in Picayune, MS

Hello Everyone. First, thanks for all the information. I've been browsing for about a month now and finally decided to register for an account. Lot's of great info here and again... thanks! I've had my Spyder RT-S (Orbital Blue) for about two months now and (again, thanks to recommendations...
