• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Stebel or Bad Boy Horn

It will fit on the right side, just behind the coolant. Cut and drill a short metal strap, to hang it. Remember it should be mounted vertical. I used the relay, and wired everything so the original still works also. REMEMBER the horn button makes the ground connection, not the hot connection...

If you knew then what you know now...what would you have done differently?

Others have given very good advice. I would add, the right service manager is very important. Meet him before you make the deal. Read all of the old posts here. Get a laser alignment. Good luck.

    Help with new RT

Garyeye1, I took a demo ride at bike week a few years ago. The Spyder wandered, and I was afraid to buy. Then I read on this forum about a new thing called laser alignment. I made laser alignment a condition in the purchase. Please believe me, it makes a huge diferance. I now have 31,000 miles...

    pondering F3

I believe most owners prefure the semi auto transmission, and resale would be easier. The two wheels in front are more stable than two in rear, and of course much more than a two wheel bike. Please do not think of just tooling around town. Take the wife on a blue line highway, explore, see...

Problem with brakes or front wheels or ?? I need as much help as I can get

You mentioned that your rear tire is rubbing. That could be your "missing belt guard". Look for a shiney section on the left sidewall. The guard may have come lose or bent going over the speed bumps. Others have advised you about the front. Good luck.

    Front tire wear

I had a similar problem on my 2014 ST-L. At Spyderfest 2015, Danny and the Tec at Pit Bull re-aligned it, and tightened the springs on the Fox shocks, with me on it. The wheels are now vertical and I have added 10,000 miles and counting. 1. Get it laser aligned. 2. Have a good tec tighten the...

    Saving for a used spyder

Most things in life are wants, not needs. If you want a Spyder more than other wants, you can save a lot quickly. I would recommend waiting until you have saved the full price before you buy, if at all possible. Vehicle loans will keep you poor all your life. Good Luck, Roger

    Loose ST-L windshield

There was a post explaining how to take it apart and add washers as spacers to put more pressure on the retainers. I also read somewhere that BRP has a repair kit that will do the same thing. I would think it is a warranty item. Your dealer may have never heard about it. You may have to have him...

Ipod problem, won't change to other playlists

compatability beadaholic, You deserve a medal for your perseverance. There is nothing wrong with your I-pod or your Spyder. Your Spyder was not designed to fully support the I-pod Classic (with the wheel). The owner's manual does not list it. I use one on my 2014 ST-L, but as you discovered...
