• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Impromptu Unscientific Satisfaction Survey

Thanks Bob.... Now....the REST of the story.... So, you know these machines attract attention and spark conversations with strangers. Like most here, I get the inappropriate question of "how much was it?". Second is some version of "how do you like it?". My answer to that question has been...

    Thank you Buckeye... Interesting....again...YOU have a 2013. I'm seeing a pattern here.....in 2014 the machine went to $#!T...

    hand brake on an RTS

Foot issue.... Having the ISCI brake on my 2014 RT the moment I picked it up from the dealer (therefore is was dealer installed and wrapped in the purchase deal) was a requirement for me. Due to back issues, I have been slowly losing the use of my legs from the knees down. The right is worse...

I'm looking for the GOOD Spyders....not the bad! If you have upgraded your bike or were not happy with the longevity of something I do NOT want a post! I'm looking for the folks who have had no issues with their Spyders. It seems to me that the OLDER Spyders (2013's) to be the years folks...

No no no.... Folks got it wrong....I DON'T want to hear the negatives!!!! I want to hear from folks WITHOUT any issues!!! This whole forum is FULL of negatives. I'm looking for the good ones.

Looking for the "sunshine"... No fishing. I just see so many similar problems on here. These are not cheap machines and yet nothing seems to improve unless owners spend MORE money and upgrade things. I'm just trying to see how many folks have done nothing to their bikes out of a need to...

    Impromptu Unscientific Satisfaction Survey

I think some got this wrong.... My post said if you had problems....I DO NOT want to hear about it. I am looking ONLY for the GOOD ones!! I don't know how many have read it but I count 3-1/2 owners who are completely happy with everything on their bike as it came out of the box. Again...don't...

    Impromptu Unscientific Satisfaction Survey

... The distinction I'm seeking is did you add things because you "wanted to do so" OR because you wanted to have it ride or handle better or last longer between failures? I "wanted" to add a cup holder. I HAD to add the skid plate and shock adjusters because out of the box it scraped at...

It's going as expected... Bam Bam, if you are pleased with the life the original Kenda tire gave you, you are in and a lucky RT owner for sure. Otherwise ....not so much. Cphillipsea ...looks like you are a very lucky RT owner indeed. Can I ask how many miles you have on it? For the rest of...

    Impromptu Unscientific Satisfaction Survey

I'm just curious to know.... So, I am interested to know how many folks out there who own any year of the Spyder RT model who have: 1.- NEVER installed any upgrade to their machine for the purpose of upgrading an engineering failure or inferior quality part. NOR 2.- never felt that any...

    Compressor/Airbag system

The PERFECT machine.... LOL! NO....it did NOT live up to my expectations and I sense that MANY on this board are not 100% satisfied with the effort, engineering, techniques and materials BRP used to create them. BUT....I just about have it re-manufactured to where it SHOULD have been in the...

Anyone have performance improvement stats on By pass pipe?

Bypass added to 2014 RT-S and... It is DEFINATELY lighter but do I notice it? It weighs a bit less than a tank of gas. You will notice it about the same as you notice the weight of an empty tank compared to a full one so, not so much. Power YES. I started pulling a 622 trailer. I do notice a...

    Compressor/Airbag system

Lots of fun....at maybe too much cost...??? I agree 100%. I have spent WAY too much money on my machine to have to basically buy it again IMMEDIATELY upon the warranty expiring. I've always been a believer in the thought that if a product is so poorly made or made of such poor quality...

    Compressor/Airbag system

Fuse instead of connector?? Anyone know if there is a fuse that would prevent discharge of manually input air from the A/B system from the Spyder's control of the system without disabling something else? Disabling the compressor would be OK because we assume if you are adding air manually...

    Compressor/Airbag system

I'm planning on installing a "bypass" hose with two extra valves so I can totally bypass a failed system without it being a major project.

    Compressor/Airbag system

I took a "guess" that the airbag had been damaged and added about 3/4 cup of "Slime" into the Schrader valve. I then pumped it up to about 60#'s with a bicycle pump. I don't "think" the air is exhausted by the bike but if it ever does, I'll look for this wire. I have everything I need to do my...

    Compressor/Airbag system

Thanks... Thank you about the project. I am just so sick of the crappy, inferior parts BRP used in my $30,000.00 machine as well as the $#!tty way they treat their customers when they try to hold them accountable. If the dealer had bothered to tell me that the rear tire would last only 6K...

Broken tabs... Must that panel come off using Doc's method to get to the compressor via tire removal?

    Compressor/Airbag system

Will do. Doc, I will have Ryan get in contact with you Re: the compressor connector. Thank you for all your help above. I'm not crazy about removing the wheel again (just did a rear tire change) but if it means not having to remove all the rear Tupperware and seats it's probably worth it...
