• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 STS - been on tender, but now won't start! Is it dead? Where is it?

The battery is behind the cover secured with two bolts in the frunk. Easy to access. And this is from personal experience: just because you can see over 12 volts with a VOM, or the battery tender shows "Good", that doesn't necessarily mean the battery is good. My battery for my VFR showed...

I'm back ... from the brink of death Covid 19

No, why? There are more reports from the CDC that the virus was in the country as far back as September 2019.

    Canister-Ectomy - 2008-2016 SM5/SE5

    Yeah, I'm wondering too.

    teardrop camper

It gives you that option with IE and Chrome. That sucker is a bit pricey. $9,000 base, up to $15,000. It says it's 8 feet long, but I don't know if that includes the tongue.

I'm back ... from the brink of death Covid 19

Yeah, I had it December 2019, lasted a couple weeks, and no fun.

Kawasaki is coming out with a three wheeler--yes, two in front and tilting.

Personally I can't see a tilting three-wheeler as anything other than a niche market. It would seem to me that a Piaggio MP3 did everything a tilting three-wheeler does, and it never sold worth a hoot. People that want to lean, buy a motorcycle, people that want a trike, buy one, people that...

    teardrop camper

Looks pretty big and high profile. Lots of area to catch a crosswind or from passing semis.

Aw c'mon, it's not rocket science.

    First zumo trip...

Multi-day trips in Basecamp are not difficult. I've done multi-stage trips using Basecamp, but not often. The multi-day trips usually end up using different routes than originally planned so a pre-planned route only works at first. I usually plan them out in advance, but make them one day trips...

Where is Oil pressure sensor please

I've never seen a magnetic dip stick and don't really feel like they would do much. JMO of course.

    Tire questions

I mostly agree, which is why I chose the Federals. They get excellent reviews and are decently priced. If Peggy raced, or did track days, or even rode in the rain, the Vredesteins might be a better choice, but the choice seems pretty obvious when the Vredesteins are nearly twice as much. It's...

    Rear drive belt pulley fitment?

Ah, gotcha. Ebay is a great source for stuff. I use it all the time.

    Tire questions

We didn't buy Peggy's 2013 Spyder new, so we haven't a huge amount of money invested, and every penny I save is a penny I can use to buy gas. :)

    Rear drive belt pulley fitment?

Looks like it would work. The part number is different because it was superseded by the new number. 79 is the correct number of teeth. If I needed one I'd go for it, a new one is about $350. Just out of curiosity, what happened that you need a new rear pulley? No need to answer if it's...

    Rear drive belt pulley fitment?

The part numbers are the same, so I would think it would. Part# 705502015 or 705502016, depending on color.

    Tire questions

I just ordered the Federal Formoza AZ01 All- Season Radial Tire-165/55R15, and the Kumho Ecsta AST KU25 All-Season Tire - 225/50R15, for Peggy's 2013 ST-S 5SM. They have excellent reports from people who have them, and they only set me back $177, including shipping, which was free. Can't beat...

Does the new 2020 RT Limited need Baja Ron bar?

I also bought a 2013 ST-S for Peggy. I rode it back from Beatrice, Nebraska, a distance of around 150 miles. It was rock steady on the interstate, in fact I found myself regularly exceeding 75 mph. It had 4200 miles and stone stock. It would appear that yours may be out of alignment...maybe...

    Battery recommendations

FWIW, I gave up on Yuasa when they priced themselves out of my range. I get my batteries from Wally World and they last 4-5 years and run about 1/2 the cost, or less, of a Yuasa.
