• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Sightings

Fall in WNY Wow!! Actually saw 2 Spyders on my trip to Rochester & back. One as I exited the Thruway at Victor....it was bumblebee yellow & then one on Rt 33 near Bergen NY. Don't know who they were but hope they enjoyed a great fall ryding day like I did.

    Shout out to Andrews Sports.

I'm glad to hear your experience. I can't say I didn't think about Spyder troubles when we went to the Adirondacks. 1200 miles, 2 up with a trailer can make you think. But I have over 6500 miles without any major issues........ball joints don't count! :2thumbs: Ryde safely.................

    What rain gear to get

We bought Frogg Toggs from Revzilla. They are incredibly light, they breathe, & they keep you dry. I think you'll like the price too. I realize as was said before...you get what you pay for....but I truly think these might be the exception.

    Floorboards

I ended up with Seal Floorboards & have been very happy with them. I had tried ISCI's but didn't feel they gave me the variation of foot positions I needed with the leg issues I have. They are for sale if you are interested. In perfect shape......just didn't work for me.

    First Trip

Just like you We're also on our first "real" trip with or RT Limited & RT622 trailer. You have to know the wife tossed all kinds of f-bombs when I said I wanted a bike again. That may have been caused by the skin graft on her leg from here last bike experience! The test drive in the dealer...

    Light bulb replacement

Like so many discussions on here, I'm sure this has been addressed before. I'm just wondering if I can replace turn signal, backup, & front fender bulbs with LED bulbs. I know we have advertisers on here that offer mods....but can I just replace the bulbs? Is this a canbus system so I need to...

    2013 RT LTD - analog fuel gauge - accuracy - NOT !

RT analog gauges Thanks again to all my fellow Spyderlovers!! By sharing your past experiences and knowledge, I took my instrument cluster apart today and disconnected my gauges. I Like the digital ones soooooo much better. now I'll have to put in the old spaces. Haven't taken the gauges out...

    RT 622 Recall Question

I'll check with the dealer I bought my Spyder from. He's VEEEERY competent & easy to deal with. If you're ever in trouble in NY near Buffalo, try Ken's Service & Sales in Elma. They are the best!!! Warranty replaced a ball joint, the tire it ate up, & a seat I didn't realize was coming apart...

    RT 622 Recall Question

No....his was sold. Found a 2012 new white one locally. The dealer sucks (and his sticker peeled off easily) but the cost was reasonable & it matches my RT Limited.

    RT 622 Recall Question

Just took delivery of a 2012 RT 622 on Wednesday. I was something about a recall for the wheel bearings on these units but can't find anything online. I'd call the dealer but if he doesn't know enough to connect the Spyder to trainer harness that runs though the tongue of the trailer, I doubt...
