• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dead Spyder need some help.

If the battery was at 11.7 volts for a long time it is probably in need of replacement. It may take a full charge but it may not have a lot of storage capacity left.

    Firstgear Panel Mount DC Connector

Garmin makes a smaller panel mount that maybe easier to install , maybe not in this location because of the pre existing hole size

Cover depends on what type you are looking for full cover storage , full cover travel, full cover towing, half cover overnight. Many manufactures depending on what you want.

    Show Chrome Passenger Arm Rest

I installed a set on my buds RT, very easy to do. You can set the tension on the arms , there is a set screw on the side of the bolt so that it stays in place, once set. Trick is to get the hinge bolt in first then move on too the other two screws.

    battery tender

To wfdfirch3 You have to move the fuse because one position is a switched position and the other is hot all the time. The switch position is off when the ignition is turned off, so you can not charge thru this when the trike is off.

    Factory CB Radio sucks

I had the J&M upgraded antenna installed with CB so I can't tell you if it is better with it or without. I can only tell you that the CB sucks compared to my Goldwing CB. The max range is only about 1 mile.

    U haul

It seems to me you should be riding the Spyder not trailering it. If it is cold weather you are looking at, then I would suggest and investment in heated clothing.

    2013 rt lim

You could put a proximity senor on your Spyder this way anyone who comes close to the trike, will trip the alarm. The best one I found was by Scorpion. Also provides other levels of protection.

    Helmet cheek pads

I would suspect that since the shell's are the same size that the pads get thicker as the helmet size rating gets smaller.

    Tire Pressure Monitors

I have TPM system made by BIG BIKE PARTS called Tire Guard system. It comes in 2 wheel, 3 wheel and 4 wheel configuration. May be some day they might make a 5 wheel one for tikes with a trailer. The sensors screw on to the valve stem and you do not have to rebalance your wheels or remove them to...

Help with a seat and rear luggage rack please.

MY understanding is the Corbin seat is hard and made to fit the bike not the individual. So I would look an Ultimate. Don't know if Diamond makes one for the Spyder but definitely worth a phone call.

    backup battery?

Your battery should not die that easily. I don't know how long you leave it sit, but it should last a couple of months. Do you have some thing that is drawing power while the bike is off? How old is the battery, it maybe getting weak and not taking a full charge any more, or able to hold it. You...

Go pro hero 3 placement on rts new spyder

A solid mount like shown would be the best but I have used a strong velcro material also . My preference is ram ball mounts.

    Keeping mice out!

Dyer sheets are suppose to work also. I have found that moth balls in sufficiently large quantity is the best deterrent.

    Boots...Need New Boots

I second the vote for Cruiserworks boots . They are very comfortable and weather proof. Not a cheap boot but very well made. Many different styles.

    Spyder on a Pickup Truck??

If you have a truck to haul it in you would be much better off with a trailer.

    RT with a trunk

You can cut down on the bulky clothes items if you have heated liners . That is what I do, one heated liner equals several sweaters or leather jack etc. Can set heat range with just the turn of a dial.
