• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

As you state you have a RTS the ACS system is all automatic.. You adjust via the switch the ride firmness you desire. The Schrader valve is primarily used on the base model RT.

    Burning oil

You need to check your often until you get an idea as to how much oil you use over X miles. This is very important on the SE model 998's because if the oil gets to low the transmission will start to give you fits. The cause of the oil consumption is it is being sucked into the air cleaner box...

2017 Limited Lower left hand panel

That is normal. Reason being it is a carry over from the V-twin models. In 2010 it was solid like the right side meaning it was held on with 4 screws. Then later BRP came out with a mod to the panel (I believe about the same time as they changed the transmission filter on the SE5's). They did...

    Bluetooth on 2015 RT-L

You can have Bluetooth but you will have to give up the CB radio working. The Bluetooth install uses the CB input to the radio. If you still want to install the SM10 you have I have a robust cable that installs the SM10 in the upper right hand corner of the rear trunk.

Headlights are single filament H7 - How do they work Hi/Lo?

The headlight on the Spyder is a single filament bulb and serves as the high and low beam. There is a solenoid inside the headlight assembly that when energized it lifts the shutter up so the full power of the light is projected out giving you the high beam function. When you select low beam the...

Are the Heat Recall Air Scoops still available?

The scoop is screwed to the upper panel per the instructions in the recall document. Do you need a copy of the recall document? Therefore as the picture shows the upper panel is removed thus exposing the 36 mm hex cap for the oil filter. Simple to get to, Remove the mirror and 5 screws and pop...

Are the Heat Recall Air Scoops still available?

Yes. As part of the scoop install procedure the acoustic panels are removed and replaced by the metal bracket. All RT's from 2010 to present models can benefit from having the air scoops installed. But then again you slammed the Member that started this post that asked a simple question as to...

Are the Heat Recall Air Scoops still available?

Only have a picture of the left side but the right side is basically the same. Nice thing about the right side is if you change your own oil the oil filter cap is already exposed.

    Head lamps not working

You just stated that the Headlights are functioning so the jumper is fine but you don't have the lower set of lights. The white light on either side of the front trunk are the Fog lights. The Fog lights are switched on by activating the far right switch above the glove box.

    Head lamps not working

Problem could be that the 5 pin connector on the back of the left headlight has come disconnected. There is a jumper wire installed on the headlight connector that configures the wiring to the US/Canada light standard. If the jumper isn't functioning neither headlight will light.
