• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Really enjoyed seeing all the Spyders and riders this weekend in Daytona Beach. It sure was fun to see all the modifications. Is there an Spyder Rally on the East Coast this year?

Quick stops, how to steady yourself?

Seems like on my BMW, during quick stops, I was just part of the bike. On the Spyder, it seems like I get "thrown around" a bit. Throddle has only been an issue acouple time during practice in an empty lot. But it different from my two wheeled bike. Practice will make perfect. I still reach...

    Spare console/handlebar parts

That will be fine, but I want to confirm the parts I have with you. They are in my car, which is in the shop. When I get back today, I'll descibe to you what I have, so you can "check it out" and be sure. Thanks

Any suggestions on how to position to yourself in a quick stop to be stable and not roll on the throddle?

    Spare console/handlebar parts

I have no idea what they are worth, or what shipping would be. Make an offer, I guess. Thanks, Kathy

    Carrying extra fuel?

These tanks look really cool and sturdy. Looks like they could be put on as "luggage" on the back of our BMW or Spyder. How do you pipe it in? A long neck funnel? Thanks for the information. Kathy

    Spare console/handlebar parts

Hi, I installed a Kewlmetal console and handle bars and love them. I have the mft. parts that were removed. Are these something that anyone can use? Thanks, Kathy

    Carrying extra fuel?

I know this is a taboo subject, but there are areas of this country where you can't find fuel as often as the Spyder needs it. How are you dealing with this

BRP Outside cover: no direct sun?

Hi, I purchased the BRP outdoor cover and in the directions it says "Do not sotre vehicle in direct sun with the cover on". Huh? That is one reason I wanted the cover, to protect the Spyder from direct sunlight???? Ideas?

    New Spyder:Windshield and handlebars

I took off the EVO 111 and put the stock windshield on. It was great in comparison and the wind was coming directly on me, instead of from the back. Yes, I'll work on the bars and then try something else on the windshield. I'm sure there will be a good solution.

    New Spyder:Windshield and handlebars

Hi, Yes, I was sitting as far forward as possible. There was so much wind/turbulance that I could not keep my face shield up and my helmet was humming. The noise, even with ear plugs was unbearable. Now I'm wondering if I should get the handlebars right and then work on the windshield. I...

    New Spyder:Windshield and handlebars

Well, got my new yellow Spyder! Very cool, although I must say it take some time to adjust from a motorcycle. But I love the stability and it has reduced my anxiety at stops and during slow turns. My husband and I took turns riding it home, about 450 miles, although I did most of it. The...

    Outdoor cover recommendations

We don't need long term covers because we ride our bikes often. Our BMWs have done well with the regular covers, but you're right, they do get damp.

    Rentals Available in Europe/Australia/New Zealand?

Does anyone know if you can rent a Spyder in these locations yet?

    Outdoor cover recommendations

I will be storing my new Spyder outside and wondered if I should purchase the manf. cover, or there are other "ATV" type covers that would work better.

Women motorcycle riders switching to Spyders

Well, my Spyder is here, but won't be able to get to NC to pick it up til November sometime. Many of you expressed the concerns I had on a two-wheeler. I kept thinking I would "get over" my apprehension, but I didn't. I have riden the Spyder twice, for about an hour and while it is different...

    Highway pegs and passenger pegs

Hi, In several weeks I will pick up my new Spyder!! I am considering highway pegs and lowering the passenger pegs. This may be a repeat for many of you, but what have you tried that you like? I was looking at the Kewlmetal highway mounting brackets with the Kuryakyn pegs. I have read also...

Women motorcycle riders switching to Spyders

Does your husband still ride a motorcycle and how is it to combine the two vehicles on a trip? About how tall are you? I have been looking at the Cee Bailey windshields and they are "rated" for different rider heights. I think I would miss my motorcycle, but like you said, I haven't gotten...
